By the time Hobi and Arie finished breakfast, Jin and a very tired Yoongi were up. Joon clapped Yoongi on his shoulder, "Just a few more days, and you can go back to your normal shift!"

"Thank fuck for that, I don't know how you guys function so early in the morning. It's borderline inhumane."

They ignored him because they were used to his grumpy attitude, but Arie looked concerned. She reached out her hand, and he handed her his phone without a word. Joon was slightly annoyed with how in tune he was with her. She typed something and showed it to him.

"I promise I'm fine; I'm just whining for the sake of whining."

She typed something else, and he rolled his eyes, "Not happening."

"What? What did she say?"

Yoongi looked at Joon. "She said that if I go to bed earlier and stick to waking up earlier after a few weeks, mornings wouldn't be so bad."

"Well, she's not wrong."

He scoffed, "Next, you are going to tell me that I should take up exercise, too. It's not happening."

Once they finished eating, Arie demanded that she help clean up; Joon told her that they would leave as soon as she was done, and then he went to his room to get ready. He wore comfy clothes since they would be doing a lot of walking.

Joon looked in the mirror and deemed himself ready. He heard Arie and Jin cracking up in the kitchen, and when he walked in, Jimin and Tae were acting out some ridiculous scene from a romance movie they had watched not that long ago. Jimin was currently lying in Tae's arms, dying, while Tae wailed at him not to leave him and their daughter.

"Tae, I'm surprised you are up already?"

He rolled his eyes, "Jimin came into our room whining about how Arie kicked his ass at Mario Kart."

Arie laughed so hard that she could barely breathe, "Arie, I know they are hilarious, but are you ready?"

She nodded her head and wiped her hands dry. She waved bye to everyone, and then the two of them got in his car. They headed downtown first. He needed to drop off the files at the LAFD HQ. It took about 25 minutes to get there, which was surprising since, with traffic, it usually takes about an hour or longer. But he got all the stuff turned into the correct departments, and then it was time to go grocery shopping.

When they got to the store, he gave her a cart and grabbed one himself. Her eyebrow was raised. Joon knew she was confused about why they needed two carts. "There are seven men and you. We eat a lot. We have to go at least once a week. It's usually me or Jin that does the shopping, but his day off isn't for a few days, so I'm doing it this week."

Why was he going into detail to explain everything? This isn't like him at all. But she didn't seem to mind; she just nodded and followed behind him. The two of them filled the carts up quickly, and seeing how big her eyes got with the amount of food was adorable. When the total was shown, her mouth dropped. "We each put $100 a week into a joint account, and it covers the food and essentials we need."

It seemed strange to most people, but for some reason, it worked for them. They headed back to the station, and everyone but Hobi and Jimin helped them carry everything in and put it up. "Arie, I'm about to start making lunch. Hobi told me that you helped with breakfast, and I thought you might want to help with lunch."

She was getting ready to nod yes, but Joon stopped her, "Hyung, she can't. We're going out to eat and then to the movies."

Jin's eyes widened, and he smiled at him, "You two have fun then. We'll see you later."
