Izzie's POV
Izzie was tired of the mind games and the guessing games with Casey.
Everything was fine when the dinner party started, but of course, everything got ruined when EVAN showed up. What kind of name is that anyway?
When Casey told me that I should go, it kind of hurt my feelings because I was just looking out for her. What Evan did to Casey wasn't right.
Evan standing her dad up like that? Is something an asshole would do, I've never really had a problem with Evan but I never really liked him either.
I've always just had a bad gut feeling about him. I stayed up all night replaying the night over and over again in my head and suddenly tears are coming down my face, I try to wipe them away but there are so many.. too many to catch.
I feel like me and Casey have these moments with each other that are just unforgettable but still, she finds a way to just act like it never happens.

3rd Point of view
Casey was rushing this morning because she realized she accidentally set her morning alarm to 7 pm instead of 7 am.
She didn't even have time to grab breakfast.
"See you later, Dad & Elsa," she said leaving out of the house with pencils in her right hand and her backpack in her left and slinging it on her shoulder.
She ran to the car and got in putting her things on the passenger side and drove to school. She was gonna pick up Izzie but Izzie said she had things to take care of, it's not like she wanted to be around Izzie 24/7. But she also had to remember that she had a boyfriend that she had to spend time with. Izzie couldn't get out of her head no matter how many times she tried to stop thinking of her.
Casey pushed those confusing thoughts out of her head and got her things then left her car and walked to the building. Casey went straight to her locker and put in the combination. As Casey was taking things out of her bookbag and putting the bag in her locker she got a text from her best friend...
Izzie💕: Hey Newton, meet me in the bathroom near our lockers!!
Casey smiled at her phone and went to the bathroom and played with her hair a little on her way there. As Casey walked into the bathroom, Izzie was drying her hands. "Hey Newton," Izzie said with a smile that could light up anyone's day, "Sup Nerd" "Tough morning? You look like shit" Izzie said scrunching up her face in a playful way while laughing.
Casey rolled her eyes and smirked, "Heyy!! don't judge me okay, I woke up at 3 in the morning to go on a run and when I came back in to go to sleep I accidentally set the timer to 7 pm instead of 7 am" Izzie let out a giggle as Casey finished explaining what happened,
"oh my gosh Newton that's totally something you would do, let me help you" Izzie came closer to me and started fixing the tie around my neck. Casey never really noticed how short Izzie was until she looked down at her. She couldn't shake the butterflies that clouded her stomach.
"I could count all the freckles on her cheeks," she thought, it reminded her of stars in the night sky. She just want to count all of them, Casey quickly blinked and looked down to see if Izzie almost done with her tie.
