prologue

(A/N slight Car Crash TW, read with caution)
I always wondered what a life or death situation felt like and as I grew older I wish I never asked. The night my life turned to shambles I was 6 years old. Family road trip my mom said, it'll be fun my dad said, stop being a paranoid idiot my sister said, as usual, I was right, something terrible happened. It all happened so quickly, one minute we're on the road next I'm screaming bloody murder. The doctors and nurses did everything in the power to save all of us, it didn't work, it never does. So that night my father's life was lost but my brother's began. Funny how that works huh? God takes one life but tries to make up for it by your brother being born early? I thought I'd never have to go through any of that again... till the year I turned 16 and shit started to go down.
