Julio's POV
Ding-Ding-Ding
Fuck
I knew I should've took my ass to sleep earlier

I reached for my iPhone and tried pressing stop, but the damn thing kept ringing. I threw on the ground and forced myself out of the bed. I got dressed in a black hoodie and gold chain and rushed out. I stopped at my favorite coffee shop since I haven't gone grocery shopping in hot minute. I sped walk to a cashier and ordered my regular ,when I felt a double tap on my shoulder.
"Funny meeting you here.."
And there she was with a grin and a huge Afro. I swear to God, this girl gets prettier every time I see her.

Her snapping in my face releases me from my daydreaming.
"O-Oh it's great to see y-you again. Even if I-I just saw y-you yesterday. Not that I don't want to see you again."
The cashier cleared his throat waiting for me to finish the order.
"I'll get a black coffee, to go"
"Swipe your card,and here you go sir"
"Thanks, and put the pretty lady behind me's order on my tab."
"I got t-to rush to work K-Kendall but I-I'll text you."
"Okay I guess" she looked down
Shit
Well now I feel bad but my boss is gonna kill me if I'm late again.
I sped to the shop and clocked in 3 minutes before my time.
"Good job, being on time Julio."

Kendall's POV
Today, I'm back to my classes and being busy. It was nice just to have a day with myself even if some of it was spent on a date.
As I parked, in the front of my favorite coffee shop, I saw a familiar back of a head. I walked in and I realized that it was definitely Julio. I tiptoed up to him and double tapped his shoulder.
He seems kinda in shock. I hope I didn't scare him. I spoke to him but I wasn't sure he was listening since he just stared at me.

I snapped in his face a few times and he came back.
"O-Oh it's great to see y-you again. Even if I-I just saw y-you yesterday. Not that I don't want to see you again."
He is so cute.
I heard a throat clear from the cashier and Julio continued ordering. Before I knew it, he was gone but said he would text me. I walked up since it was my time to order.
"I'll get a green tea and croissant please."
"Okay, and the man in front of you payed so you're good."
If I was white, the blush on my face would be undeniable. He handed me my food and i got in my car.
I drove to the hospital and overall it was another boring day. Every once in a while, we get a crazy case ,but having pediatrics as a specialty is pretty chill. When I got back home, I got my long awaited text from Julio.
