Y/N yawned, stretching and cracking her aching bones.

What an odd dream, she thought. She could have almost sworn it was real. She looked over at her bedside clock. It was 12PM. Her eyes widened, she was going to be late! She scrambled out of bed, flying around her room. Clothes were thrown all over as she attempted to pull together a somewhat decent outfit, to show up to her afternoon classes in. While also running out of her tiny apartment, trying to get to the bus stop on time.

Out of breath, she made it to the stop just as the bus was pulling away from the station. It halted abruptly and she got on. Smiling apologetically to the bus driver as he had to reopen the doors just for her. She dropped onto the nearest open seat and sighed a breath of relief, buttoning up the final few buttons at the top her shirt.

She watched as the bus zoomed by the people going about their day on the streets. It really was a mundane day, the sky was cloudy and gray, nothing seemingly interesting was happening either. Not that she expected much but she just couldn't shake that strange dream. She had never had one so vivid before.

It was a short ride, so in no time the bus was pulling up in front of her university's entrance. She quickly got off although her mind kept replaying the moment over and over. Y/N thought she must be really lonely if she was making up imaginary people now.

She only had two classes today but both of them were boring her to death today.

All throughout the afternoon she kept looking out the classroom windows and watched as the trees outside were being blown every which way with the winds. She just couldn't focus on anything except the dream. It had been so nice and comforting. It reminded her of the days she felt happy and carefree, like nothing could go wrong. She wished she could go back to it.

It was getting closer to four in the afternoon, now, and the clouds were a really deep gray. Small drizzles of water were beginning to fall onto the classroom window. She probably should have brought an umbrella, she thought as her professor wrapped up his last thoughts and dismissed them all. She packed up her things, not in a particular hurry and left the classroom with the rest of the students.

Y/N had never disliked the rain so much. Normally she would have liked the rain, it was good for the plants anyway. But for some odd reason, today, it was putting her in a bad mood. It was like the weather wanted to wash out all of the good feelings the dream had given her.

Getting to the end of the building, she noticed that the rain had become much stronger. Y/N watched as many of her fellow students popped open umbrellas and either shared it with their friend or significant other. She guessed she was going to have to dry her bag out a lot when she got home. She put her bag above her head and made a run for the bus stop.

She managed to make it there, finally getting a little shade from the onslaught of rain that seemingly came from nowhere. Y/N was completely soaked from head to toe but otherwise unharmed. Although she was going to have a bear trying to clean her shoes and dry her socks out. She was about to sit when the roar of an engine caught everyone's attention.

A beautiful sleek, black, and EXPENSIVE looking car rounded the corner, pulling up to the school's entrance, right in front of her. The driver's side door to the car opened and out popped a dark green umbrella.

If the car itself didn't catch their attention then the man who stepped out of the car certainly did. The tall handsome stranger screamed rich, from the Rolex watch to the expensive suit he donned. There was no mistaking this man came from money. She briefly wondered who the lucky person was to be acquainted with this god of a man. Until he stopped in front of her.

"I'm sorry I was a little late," the stranger says, flashing Y/N the sweetest smile and the cutest set of dimples she had ever come across. "There was quite a bit of traffic. Were you waiting long?"

His voice sounded vaguely familiar, but Y/N could only gape at him. She had never seen this man before in her entire life, and she would definitely remember someone like him. She had to look around her to make sure he was addressing her. "You're talking to me?" she asked.

The man nodded. "I always tell you to take better care of yourself, but you never seem to listen to me," he chides lightly. "Look you're even shivering."

She hadn't really noticed how cold she felt until he mentioned it.

He took off his coat and wrapped it around her shoulders. "Come on, let's get you into the car," he said, holding out his hand for her to take.

She was unsure of whether she should move or not. She had so many questions floating through her head, but the most important one being, Who the hell was this man??

By now a small crowd had started to gather to ogle the handsome rich man. He didn't seem to mind though. He was acting like they were the only two in the world. He must be accustomed to being in the public eye, she thought.

Y/N still couldn't believe he was talking to her, but it was getting a little uncomfortable for all eyes to be on her. Trying her best to ignore her nosy classmates whispering in the background, she decided she would ask questions later rather than make a scene here. So with considerable amount of hesitation, she reached out and took his outstretched hand.

He gave her that dazzling smile again. "Let's go home."
