As expected Toni refused to tell me where we were going. He simply said

     "Be patient mi amore "

And proceeded to ignore me the rest of the ride. He pulled up at a gigantic house. Not as big mine though

     "Is this your house"

     "So you refused to tell me we were going to your house"

     "Yes"

     "So we gonna watch a movie or something "

     "I was thinking since I'm an Italian and Italians kinda invented pizza we could try. I'm an expert and I'll teach yourself to do it just right "

If I wasn't so surprised at the date I would have laughed at his nervous side which hardly came out

     "That's sounds amazing"

He nodded

     "But are you sure you can cook. Make pizza that is"

     "I'll have you know I'm a man of many talents"

The cocky bastard is back

     "Sausage or chicken"

     "Can we have like ten different types"

     "Maybe but I'd like to stick to the one I can make in a heart beat"

     "Can we make both then"

     "15 okay for you? "

     "Yep" I nodded

     "So we'll just take a trip to the super market"

     "Your fridge isn't stocked? "

     "I didn't think you'd agree"

     "why not" I asked with an irritated tone and with a hand on my hip

     "don't worry about it let's go"

     "Are we walking "

He nodded

     "But you have like 20 cars"

     "I'm in the mood for a walk, it really sets the scene plus you could use some exercise "

     "Are you calling me fat? "

     "Exactly " he answered sheepishly

I scoffed faking my hurt

He stole a kiss and said in my ears "You're still the prettiest girl in the world to me" noticing my wavering eyes he added "I'll have you know I have never used that compliment before"

     "T-t-thanks" I croaked out pretty sure I was turning all shades of red

He gave me a heart warming million dollar smile as he dragged me to the store.
