He heard the elevator close behind him as he walked into the main area. He took it in for a moment, everything for some reason seemed larger. Was he really that tired when they arrived?
He glanced around as he walked slowly in. He could feel his anxiety rising, why did all of this feel so awkward? He spotted a few kids awake. None of them his own classmates though. Which also meant to Annabeth. He was on his own for the moment.
He sat down on an empty armchair and took that moment to just stare around the room. There was a blond kid in the kitchen, he seemed pissed. And was mixing something as if it had murder his family. Percy prickled in some memory of the Ares kids. He looked away before he could make eye contact.
His eyes landed on another person. She had long black hair and was writing something down in a notebook. She seemed... Stressed. He wondered if she was alright.
Sitting near her was a dueled haired kid. He looked exhausted and was staring off into space Percy swore he recognized him from somewhere. Though he couldn't place his finger on it.
His eyes drifted over to what he assumed was the dining area? Two people sat. A stocky blue hair boy. Who seemed to be talking to a brunette across from him. He was shaking his hands vigorously and the brunette was tiredly nodding her head along as she ate cereal.
These kids seemed so... Homely? It reminded him a lot of camp to be honest. Oh gods was he already getting homesick? He had been away from home way longer then this before. Why did he now feel homesick? (Maybe the lack of connection with the gods had something to do with it)
He sighed softly to himself and snuck down into his chair. Bringing his legs up to this chest. He placed his chin on the top of his knees and stared off into space for a moment. He wondered if any of his classmates had woken up yet. He felt awkward being the only one in the room of UA students. Not to metion his Japanese, was more or less shit. It seemed his brain wasnt wired to read Kanji either. Or the other 2 writing languages.
Percy was broken fron his train of thought when he heard some doors open. He tilted his head to the side to look over at who entered. It was a green haired boy, definitely shorter then Percy himself. The guy was drenched in sweat
He walked into the room, sliding his shoes off as he did. Over by the tables the brunette that was talking the the blue hair boy stood up to greet him.
Though Percy himself could not understand since the whole conversation was spoken in Japanese.
The green haired boy then walked over to the kitchen area and attempted to talk to the blond standing there.
It seemed though that he was chewed out. Or yelled at? Though Percy could tell the the green hair boy did wince back at he blonds yelling.
The blue haired boy from the table came over and started shouting back at the blond. They seemed to start arguing.
Percy stared on in confusion. Was this a daily thing? The others in the common room seemed un-bothered. Even though he couldn't understand them, the 4 did make good entertainment.
Though someone must have noticed his staring because he yelped slightly when he heard someone speak.
"They entertaining enough for you?"
He looked over and Jirou sat on the couch near the chair he was sitting on.
"Oh um... Yeah. No idea what their say though"
Jirou laugh slightly.
"Mm Well.... Midoriya just got back from running. Uraraka greeted him"
"I assumed that much"
Jirou chuckled.
"Um Midoriya went up to talk to Bakugo, that argument is normal. I think he asked for something. I didnt quite catch it. And then Bakugo started yelling"
"Mmm and thags Normal?"
"Yep. Daily, no even hourly thing. We've gotten used to it"
"Huh. Fun"
"Yep. Makes good entertainment"
Just then Percy heard the sounds of footsteps. He looked up behind him to See Annabeth coming down the stairs.
He sighed in relief. Someone he knew. And happening to be his amazing and wonderful girlfriend.
