We have been filming for around four hours with a few breaks between takes.
The scenes filmed so far were great and didn't need to be filmed more than twice. Most were only one take.
I have to say our acting seems up there. We both were great at acting and that's not just to boost my ego. The acting seems to flow as if it's not a bunch of clips but more so one action.
The last scene we filmed was where Yibo's character yelled when mine threw himself off the cliff.
That was the only scene he seemed to have little problem with visualizing as he asked them for an image to go off of in order to nail the scream.
The directors told him to pretend his motorcycle fell off the cliff but he still looked slightly confused. When they weren't watching I walked up to him to relay a message from Wei Wuxian.
"Yibo, I can tell you're still confused so how about you look at it from the character's perspective? You have feelings for Wei but you aren't sure what it is you're feeling. But you know it's deep and you care for him so you have to relay that with your expression. Your future love had thrown himself off a cliff and you have to be devastated. Imagine Wei saying 'My Lan Zhan your expression is stoic even now. Pity I won't see it anymore. Smile a bit more sometimes' Can you bear that?"
"You talk too much and he won't say that"
"Not even a thanks. Which part will he not say?"
"The pity part. He would think he is not good enough for Lan Zhan"
"Hmph, you know my character better than me."
"Childish"
He walked past me and went to film.
He had nailed the scream perfectly and didn't need to retake.
We are now on lunch and he approached me to thank me for the tips.
"Thanks for the tips"
"Tips of what?"
"Earlier and the scream"
"Oh, you used them? I thought you used the motorcycle falling off. Looks like something you would hate since you love your bike😉"
"Shameless"
He walked away and left me laughing at his tomato like appearance. I ran to catch up with him and whispered in his ear
'That blush fits you stunningly. Can you wear it more often even on a larger coverage"
If he was mistaken as pink before he definitely was red now.
My face probably was too though for a different reason - my lack of oxygen from too much laughing. I allowed him to walk away and eat in peace.
