"Charge!" I yelled as we charged into the capitol, "Astral wait," I said before grabbing her hand.
Hey, I'm Bee, yeah, that's what the others call me, I'm proud of it not because I like flowers, because I sting when I'm aggravated. You probably wanna know what happened, to make this place like this, trust me you'll wanna stick around, have you ever been in a event you couldn't control? This is where we start our story. Let me tell the story.
"I'm off to work, little bro" I nudged my little brother, Jinx, "I'm not that younger than you, Bee." That wasn't my name, it was Quinn but, I stung like a bee when I'm mad, so he called me, 'Bee' "Yeah you are, you're in college while I have a full hour job" I smirked before grabbing my keys. I lived a relatively normal life, besides the fact both of our parents passed and I gotta take care of him, well, I had to take care of him. Life wasn't bad, we took care of each other.
A couple hours after I left, the news came on, "There was a minor earthquake and Heaven way community college has collapsed in on its self." I thought to myself because he goes to that college, 'please don't let him leave me, he's all I have' I ended up calling him, no answer, I kept calling him. They all went to voice mail, that's when I left to go to the college, I had my yellow raincoat in my hand with my blue backpack on my shoulder, "Fuck fuck fuck," I kept repeating to myself in fear I would have no one left to care for, no one to care for me. 'I needed him to stay with me.' I kept thinking he was fine. When I got there, I was calling his name, "Jinx! Jinx where are you?!" I repeated until I couldn't walk or talk anymore. I was down on my knees at this point, praying to god that he was safe.
I sprinted to the police station, making sure they found him, I told them his name was "Jinx Pine, He's 23 and he has blue hair and green eyes." They looked at me in sorrow, "We found him, is your name Bee?" I nodded, "Well, Bee," they paused trying to find the right words, "We found him, under a pile of bricks, he didn't make it. I'm so sorry for your lost," I gazed at them "You're fucking kidding right? You have to be fucking kidding." I said aggravated, "We're not, I'm sorry." I reached for something in my bag, I pulled out my phone and left, that's when it struck, the moment where the world went silent, there was only a crack before the life went quiet. Then there was screaming, loud, loud screaming, car alarms, sirens.
My life flashed before my eyes, every building around me collapsed, everything broke, the earthquake sirens went off. I ran to the closest table near me, I was scared for my life, there was no way I would be able to survive this, no way I was able to live through this earthquake, yet I did. I didnt want to, I wanted to be with Jinx, I couldnt believe it, he was gone,but after, I didn't know what to do, but then I did. I left under the table and crawled out, no one else was there, I wonder if everyone is okay.
"Shit! is Kyon okay!" I yelled to myself before running to her house and dodging over every thing in my way. At her house I was banging on the door "Kyon! Kyon!" I screamed in fear that I lost someone else. She opened the door, badly injured, "Hey, Bee" I came in and closed the door, I glanced at her arm.
"We need to get that bandaged up," I looked back up at her, her eyes on mine. "What are you staring for?" I chuckled before grabbing some bandages, "I heard the president died and there's no VP," "Okay and?" I replied, "Just saying you could take over, I wouldn't mind you as my queen" she teased, "Oh shut up man," I groaned before wrapping some of the bandage on her arm. "Thanks Quinn," she smiled while she ran her fingers through her short blonde hair, "Mhm."
We stared at each other before she made the move and kissed me, She had the willpower to push me against the wall. "Hey, Kyon, what are you doing?" I laugh uncomfortably.
