Late For School

Gumi's mother walked into the room, and woke up Gumi, however realizing there was another girl with her. It was 6:40 AM, around the time Gumi got ready.

Mrs. Megpoid: "Gumi, why are you sleeping with Yuzuki Yukari?" Her mother asked, looking at the two girls snuggling, Gumi waking up.

Gumi: "I can explain- this is my girlfriend, mom." Gumi said, then blushing and looking back at Yuzuki Yukari.

Mrs. Megpoid: "Oh, honey, I'm glad you were able to fall in love. From now on, Yukari, you're welcome to come over here." Gumi's mother shared a smile with Yuzuki Yukari, who looked flustered.

Mrs. Megpoid: "Alright, it's best you girls get ready for school." Gumi's mother smiled as the girls got up from eachother, and Yuzuki Yukari got her clothes on, aswell as Gumi. They continued to get ready, bring their bassoons for band, until they realized it was 7:40 AM just then, and they had to ride their bikes to school.

———Later, at school, first class, band

Mr. Shion was taking attendence, just when Gumi's stomach growled, as well as Yukari's. They both had a wide blush on their face.

Mr. Shion: "I can definitely hear that two of our bassoon players stomachs are here." Mr. Shion laughed and looked at Gumi and Yukari, however both feeling too hungry to contradict him.

Hatsune Miku: "Alright snare drums, we're gonna sabotage the electric thingy so that we-" 

Sukone Tei: "The hell are you talking about? Brass section is right behind you, we can hear you." Sukone Tei said, looking back at Miku.

Hatsune Miku: "Fuck."

Yuzuki Yukari: "Wait, Gumi, I just remembered that we both rushed and forgot to eat." Yukari whispered to Gumi, Gumi then holding her bassoon and looking at Yukari.

Gumi: "But hey, atleast we didn't forget our instruments." Gumi then completely ignored everyone else, and played a short song on her bassoon, everyone's attention on Gumi.

Mr. Shion: "Alright, everyone, play number 65." Mr. Shion demanded, the band then either picking up their mallets or instruments and playing.

However, just then, Yokune Ruko's reed squeaked as he tried to play the high notes. All of the clarinets hit the high notes successfully, except Ruko. The band stopped playing, and Mr. Shion went to check on Ruko.

Yokune Ruko: "Shit." Ruko whispered under his breath as Mr. Shion walked towards him.

Mr. Shion: "Hey, Ruko, don't get all mad, I can help you. First, put your finger on that register key, and don't puff your cheeks out as much." Mr. Shion smiled as he helped Ruko.

The band continued playing, until the Highschool talent show was soon. The band packed up, and ran to the large gym.

Principal Yohioloid: "Welcome to the Vocal Synth Highschool annual talent show! Grades 7-12 will participate in the talent show, showing off if they can sing, dance, play instruments, etc!" Yohioloid said through the mic, all the students cheering.

Principal Yohioloid: "Alright, first up.. is the entire 7th, 8th, and 9th grades putting on a light show for us! If the lights go out, don't go crazy, they're just carrying candles. And yes, we made the boys do it too. The girls are wearing dresses, while the boys are, wearing dresses too." The students laughed at Yohioloid, their principal, saying that.

—-The lights went out, and the Junior High did their show.

Principal Yohioloid: "Alright! Thank you for watching, now first up for our highschool talent show is.. 10th grader, Gumi Megpoid, with singing!" 

Yuzuki Yukari: "Cmon, you can do this Gumi. Believe in yourself!" Yukari said to her girlfriend, cheering her on as she walked down from the bleachers.

Gumi: "Alright, hi, I'll be singing Melt, Hatsune Miku told me I should."

Principal Yohioloid played the music, and Gumi sang. Her vocals stunned the others, being able to produce such high sounds. Just then as she finished, the crowd clapped, and Gumi bowed.

Gumi: "Thank you everyo-" Just then, Gumi's stomach was near the mic, and it growled loudly. She froze while the crowd gasped, and she ran back to the bleachers to sit next to her girlfriend, shocked.

Hatsune Miku: "You did a great job, Gumi, also you seem really hungry, sad we can't eat food in here. But you'll make it." Hatsune Miku said to Gumi, patting her on the head.

Principal Yohioloid: "Next up, is.."

After all the students went up, the show completed, and they all did a little dance at the end, except Gumi, she sat in a corner, shocked.

Gumi: "Growling, growling, growling.." Yuzuki Yukari then went to go check on her girlfriend.

Yuzuki Yukari: "Hey Gumi, it's going to be okay, just please, stay calm.. I've had my stomach growl in front of people once, it's normal, it's going to be alright sweetie." Yukari hugged Gumi, and patted her head.

———Later 

It was finally lunch, and an argument was happening at Ruko and Ritsu's table. 

Yokune Ruko: "Tei, you don't know shit about pizza!"

Sukone Tei: "The only thing I eat is rocks-"

Namine Ritsu: "Yeah bet, that's why your hair turned grey." 

Just then, Ruko ran over to Miku's table with two carrots in his mouth as vampire fangs. Ritsu ran over aswell.

Namine Ritsu: "Ruko why the fuck are you acting like a 1st grader?"

Yokune Ruko: "And you won't believe it! She took the fork and put carrots in my mouth!"

Akita Neru: "Okay Ruko."

Gumi: "God why are you so weird?"

Yokune Ruko: "I dunno? Also I hope your girlfriend's doing good, oh wait nevermind she's right there." Ruko backed away, awkwardly, as Tei punched him in the back.

Namine Ritsu: "Yeah, just ignore Ruko." Ritsu crossed his arms and Tei and Ruko got into a fight. However, Principal Yohioloid walked in, and looked at Tei and Ruko fighting, Ruko still having carrots in his mouth.

Principal Yohioloid: "Ruko, Tei, come with me." 

——-In the principal's office

Principal Yohioloid: "First off, Ruko, why are there two carrots in your mouth?

Yokune Ruko: "Tei put them in my mouth."

Principal Yohioloid: "Tei, is that true?"

Sukone Tei: "Yes. It is." 

Principal Yohioloid: "You know, when you come to this school, you represent how your family is like. You also represent this school, is this what we are like at Vocal Synth Highschool?"

Tei, Ruko: "No."

Principal Yohioloid: "Alright, wanna know what your punishments are?"

Sukone Tei: "I guess.."

Principal Yohioloid: "The two of you will be sitting next to eachother every class, and will have to actually get along. Every class except for band."

Yokune Ruko: "Fine.. whatever.."

Principal: "Alright, go back to class. I will let your teachers know that you two need to get along."
