"Oh my god! He updated! Just when I miss him, he did!" Eunae chirped in her Asian accent of english, excited about her idol updating in Insta after an eternal.

"Hey keep it down will you? People are watching." Reminded Lauren patting her friend's shoulder. "Sorry about that." Eunae quickly apologized to the nearby customers in the cafe they were at.

"Well, what is the update about anyways?" Lauren tried to peak, to have a glance at Eunae's phone intrigued about what made her friend jump in zeal.

"Why would you want to know? You always said you preferred Myungsoo over him." Eunae moved her mobile away from Lauren's sight sticking her tongue out and got her little revenge on her friend finally.

"Hey! That's so unfair!" Lauren pouted stomping the floor. "If I had liked him too, won't you be my rival?" Lauren scoffed a sarcastic laugh. "I don't think so, Laury." Eunae smiled sipping her cold Americano drink.

"Yeah. I couldn't possibly fight over for my bias to a friend who knew them even before I did." Lauren muttered in low spirits stirring her crushed ice drink.

"Actually that's not it. The reason is, you like him while I love him. There's a big difference to it Laury." Eunae smirked at her friend and winked.

The way how Eunae words sounded oddly childish and her contradicting actions made Lauren chuckle at her Asian friend and could no longer continue being in that insignificant low mood.

"So......?" Lauren looked at Eunae finally remembering the actual reason of why they have met on a weekend after months of graduation.

"So? " Eunae repeated the word with a different tone, cluelessly shrugging her shoulders.

"Woah! Don't tell me you actually forgot why we are here in a cafe sipping soft drinks on a weekend instead of boozing up dude." Lauren complained feeling disappointed about not being able to go party with her other friends.

"An update from your bias and you forgot the purpose of our presence here?" She raised an eyebrow at the Korean girl beside her.

"Aish! Isarami jinja." Eunae grunted in low voice, which made Lauren roll her eyes in silence. "Hey I heard that though." The American girl added feeling all proud to have a pair of sharp ears.

"Anyway, Laury. What about the thing I asked for?" Eunae looked at Lauren expectantly while the latter sighed shaking her head in a minus.

"They are a legit company. But the salary they offer for the role you play isn't worth it." Lauren sighed and lightly patted her friend a gesture to comfort her who sat with a dejected look already.

"It's alright. Cheer up 'kay. This isn't the only company out there Ms Cha Eunae." Lauren tried her best to brighten up the mood in the gloomy atmosphere between them while the drabbed girl nodded half-heartedly.

"But Eunae, how could it be so hard for you to go back to the country you were born in?" Lauren swept her silky loose hair backwards with her fingers.

"Coz America has it all here already." Eunae shrugged casually. "Well not my man." She added winking once again making Lauren flash her captivating giggle.

"Jokes aside. Why do you desperately keep trying to find a decent job in South Korea? I mean, when your father has his own company established here?" Lauren furrowed her eyebrows, not understanding what her friend's actual intention was about in this regard.

"Because, it's South Korea that has him. I really wish to meet him Laury. I wish to make my existence known to him, even if it's for a mere second. I really want to tell him how much I love him Laury." Eunae frowned biting her bottom lips trying hard not to sob at a public place.

"If that's the case, you could buy a fanmeet ticket, fly to Korea, meet and greet him and then fly back to America you know?" Lauren suggestively questioned her with a prejudice that Eunae was over reacting for such a simple thing.

"If it was about just going to see him, say him that I'm his fan for blah blah years and get his autograph in a rush. I wouldn't have taken such long years Laury." Eunae heaved out a heavy sigh.

"I want to go earn and stay there, try the best of my lucks by visiting his parents' restaurant, until I meet him coincidentally one fine day....."

"And you think he will fall in love with you like in the dramas?" Lauren mocked, interrupting Eunae's train of imagination.

"Well I don't mind it happening." Eunae chuckled. "But to the least I would be able to confess my love to him with no rush as in those fan meets you know." She shrugged her shoulders.

"You have a point though." Lauren nodded convinced. "Well try this company." She grabbed a file from her handbag.

"They are legit and they offer good salary package to their employees." She added the necessary important details as she handed it over to Eunae

"With your genius brain, maybe you'd be recruited with no interview at all." She chuckled a bit, but it wasn't just a joke but a fact about Eunae. "Thanks dude. Hope your words come true." Eunae crossed her fingers praying all the gods she knew of and she wasn't aware of as well.

'I hope to be selected in this company and finally be able to meet him like I wish. Please Lord let me be selected in all the interview rounds.' Eunae silently prayed all the way back to her home while her mind was anxious for some unknown reason. Maybe her intuition was already picking up on what was going to happen next.
