STAR-CROSSED LOVERS

Chapter VII

"Ahuh!" A deep voice fake coughed successfully bringing the attention to its owner. "What now?" Eunae shrugged her shoulders while Jimin nodded along.

"Bravo! Such an awesome idea to use Jimin to find about the girl in target." Taehyung softly clapped.

"But the  question is, do you know who the exact girl is before targetting Jimin on her noona?" Taehyung raised an eyebrow, slightly cocking his head to his right with his lips curved into a proud smirk.

"Dang it!" Eunae murmured and it was her turn to wish to go hide in a rat hole as she felt it too humiliating to have been this dumb in her plan.

"I-I will think about it." She spoke, and left the room with an almost invisible frown accompanied with a loud and clear self-doubt inaudible to anyone but her.

Bothering about none in her way, she strode to her team's office room and pushed open the  glass door to her cabin a bit too forcibly.

'If I don't do the right things now, I will have to lose many things including my very purpose of being here.' Her mind reminded her that she wasn't doing her best to achieve what she wanted- the one thing, that meant the most to her was to meet her idol, for which she has bet her life with.

The weight in her heart exerted itself through her hand, making it handle the things around her a bit too harsh. First victim was her cabin's door, and then the mobile in her hand which was  slapped on the desk.

Her head refused to stay upright with pride and dignified, claiming she was dumb to have it held high and thus it hung low in shame and self-blame while her hands covered her head over as an external burden add on.

"Excuse me?"  A humble male voice soflty spoke, asking for her attention at the very moment when she felt low in her pits.

Heaving out a sigh, Eunae looked at the direction where the voice came from and saw one of her team members peeking through the little ajar door. Looking at the way how he peeked at her like a little rabbit peeking into a lion's cave, she couldn't help but scoff a subtle chuckle.

"Eunae-ssi?" The man called out again, to confirm if she was ready to hear him out and wanted to know that he wouldn't be yelled at for whatever the unknown reason is. Afterall everyone in the team members observed how pissed off she looked when she came back after serving the daeppus the coffee they demanded from her.

"Yes?" Eunae softly smiled, assuring him that she wouldn't be furious on him.

"Ugh, we have two new members added to our team. And they are outside waiting to meet you." The man informed, finally stepping into her cabin confidently after her affirmation.

"Alright!" Eunae nodded and heaved out a sigh releasing her stress into the air. "I'm coming!" She informed him and dismissed his presence from her cabin.

"So you mean you two are joining my team under the two Daeppus' order?" Eunae's eyes rounded in daze. "Yeah!" Smiled one man while the other just nodded.

"And the reason is?" Eunae stared at the two men who gave off completely two different and opposite vibes. "Why don't you go ask them yourself that, Eunae-ssi?" Spoke the one with small kitten like eyes- that gave off a annoyed lion vibe.

"What?" Eunae glared at him as she felt her pride as the superior was challenged by the very guy.

"Ah he means that we of course don't know the reason either. We were informed that we got transferred to your team by our Daeppus. And as their employers, we can ask no question but to oblige it you see." The one with the brightest smile and too humble for his own good covered the other, successfully melting Eunae's building up anger completely.
