Serayah Miller and and Malik Jackson aka Murda had one thing in common and that was the fact that they both came from the two most biggest drug dealing families in Detroit.

Serayah was Ghosts perfect child. As the youngest of 5, she was held at an upscale level because of how good of a kid she was. She did well in school. She had a job to make money for herself. She wasn't a defiant child. She didn't drink nor smoke. At 17, her family never had to think of her as a liability nor did they ever have to worry about her being in the wrong places at the wrong times. She never went against anything her family told her because she felt that they knew what was best for her. She trusted them with everything in her.

Murda on the otherhand was the exact opposite. He came from a family where abuse, lying, and being untrustworthy was common. He was the only and oldest boy in his family which made it natural for him to follow in his father's footsteps on the drug dealing scale. He stayed low with his friends who became more like family Bria, Kayla, Niyah, Dae, Shawn, Mani, and Quis. After seeing his father fail with relationships he believed that he could never find love due to his lifestyle.

However during Summer, he meets Serayah and he attracts to her because even street niggas craved AFFECTION.
