it was an odd evening for ivy jones.

she had stopped by her favorite small bookstore, going by the name of booksmart. the store was ran by a kind old woman, who was starting to gray but her smile made her look as if she was still a child. Ivy never learned the woman's name, but she figured she might like to someday.

the woman greeted ivy as she did every saturday. she pointed to the back, mentioning a new shipment of books. this confused Ivy, because the store never got in a new shipment. many people donated old books to the store, but they never got new books.

Ivy asked the woman, "new books? you got new books?" the woman nodded, explaining that they finally raised enough money to buy some, also thanking her (she was her most regular customer).

the blonde girl nodded, prideful for the woman. she then ventured her way into the back shelves, looking at the new books.

the purpose of the girl visiting the bookstore so often was for the sole reason that all the books were donated. she bought each one she did because she likes to imagine what the first person who read it was like. how they looked, how they were, what they did, how they felt as they read the same lines she did, their story.

but today, maybe she'd purchase a brand new book. one that she would donate to the store, so maybe one day someone with the same spirit would come in and imagine her story.

Ivy figured it was useless, she didn't really have a life besides her best friend and dog.  none of the brand new books caught the girl's eye, except one named it.  she looked at the book, the cover almost scaring her. it was white, with the incomplete face of a clown. she read the back, then looked back to the cover. it was a very thick book, but Ivy knew she could handle over 1,000 pages.  well, a horror book couldn't be too bad, could it?

so, ivy took the book to the woman, who scanned it. "this'll take you a while," the woman chuckled, "you still gonna come in every saturday?"  "of course," ivy reassured her. "how could i ever even go a week without seeing my favorite lady?" the woman grinned, the smile reaching her eyes. Ivy took it as an accomplishment, as she always felt people were most beautiful with a smile on their face.

Ivy left the store with the book placed in the black backpack, walking towards who-knows-where. she took random walks every friday, never knowing where she was to end up.

today, on this odd evening, she ending up in front of a small cafe.  from the inside it looked busy, but ivy was able to spot a small table that was perfect for one. she entered the cafe, ordering a medium hot chocolate. she then sat down at the table that looked perfect to her, and right before she pulled out her new book, someone walked in threw the cafe doors.

It was the most prettiest girl Ivy Jones has ever seen. She knew she had to meet that girl. She took a deep breath and walked up to her. She asked "Would u like me to pay for your coffee, I have no trouble by it?" The redhead so sure.

They were greeting each other and ivy asked her what her name was. The red headed girl said "my name is amber, amber burdix." All ivy could think about was amber burdix, don't ever leave me.
