Beep beep beep
I roll over onto my side, reaching for my phone so that I can turn off this annoying little beeping sound that is depriving me of sleep.
I grab my phone only to find that it's dead, so the noise can't be coming off of it and I need to charge it. But if it's not my phone that is taking away my precious beauty sleep what is it?
I decide that I might as well get up now even though it feels like it's only eight am AND it's the first day of summer holidays.
I practically fall out of my bed and see that my teddy bear has somehow landed on the other side of my room, what? yeah I'm sixteen and I sleep with teddy bear, don't like it? I don't care, like it? well in that case she's a light chocolatey color with the softest fur in the whole entire universe and has big beautiful enticing eyes, her name you may ask, Stella because shes as stunning as the stars. I've had Stella ever since I was six years old when my family and I went to the Gold Coast in Australia and my mum took me and my little sister Louise to the build-a-bear shop,it was pretty awesome especially to a six year old.
I somehow manage to stumble out of my room only to be greeted by the sensational aroma of coffee and pancakes, my favorite. don't ask me how but I do end up running into the kitchen and getting a plate and seating myself at the table with a huge stack of pancakes heavily drowned in maple syrup and a steaming cup of coffee topped with a light sprinkling of cocoa powder just the way I like it mmmmmmmm. After successfully stuffing down my absolutely delectable breakfast in the most dignified way that I can muster-translation: messily eating my scrumptious food- I walk down the oak floorboards in my hallway taking the time to admire the beautiful blue orchids that my mother has bought to decorate the little wooden table that we have situated between mine and Louise' bedroom doors.
Beep beep beep
There it is again. Maybe Louise and mum will know what it is, I continue to walk down the hallway until I reach the formal lounge room where I find my darling sister and my dear old mum adoringly gazing out the windows slowly eating their short stacks of pancakes and sipping at the steamy coffee. Great my mum and my sister have turned into peeping toms on what I can only assume is our new neighbors, I guess that solves the mystery of the beep beep beep- moving trucks.
"Um what are you doing?" I ask as I honestly have no idea of what they are looking at.
"Good morning Gisele" ok that was weird, my mum is not meant to sigh adoringly when she talks, in fact no mother should sigh adoringly whilst speaking unless the adoration is aimed at some cute little kid or something not when gazing out a window.
"Oh my gosh, Gis you have got to have a look out there. one: there is like a billion of moving trucks so we obviously have some new neighbors and two: there are six extremely hot boys moving into those six previously vacant houses, and five of them just happen to be in your year at our school"
That gets me moving.
As fast as I can I race to the window with wide eyes and sure enough the schools five heart throbs just happen to be moving into my street and then my eye catches a new guy someone I have never seen before But someone I'm sure I want to see more of, he seems to be moving into the house next door, he's got bright bluish greenish eyes that instantly makes me weak at the knees and dark chocolatey brown hair that looks so soft that I just want to reach out and touch it. He's wearing a tightly fitted white v-neck top that allows me to clearly see his toned abs and chest, he's also wearing loose dark wash jeans that are hanging low enough for me to see his perfectly cut v-line and that he wears Calvin Kline.
This is going to be one heck of a summer.Authors note
