LORELIE EVANGELINE BENNET was born on Valentines Day. Leslie Bennet had gone into labor a few months prior with Lorelie's older sister Rue, so when Leslie was informed that she still had a unborn daughter resting in her womb she was visibly shocked. Doctors called them irish twins, told Leslie she was lucky, but Leslie was already facing problems with three-day old Rue and she wasnt planning on having another child for a couple of years but when she brought up the possibility of giving Lorelie away for adoption, Robert was quick to shut it down. He loved the idea of Rue growing up with a sister so close to her age, especially since when he was younger he had always wanted a twin, he figured it'd be good. For both of his daughters to have someone they could rely on no matter what.
Growing up Rue and Lorelie were closer than any pair had ever been, they made eachother feel normal, and despite going through their own problems they were always their to support eachother. Even though they were sisters, it was incredibly obvious that they were pulling eachother down. Neither of them had that sense of logic that made them stop and think, "yea this is dumb," and when they did think that the pair would just ignore it. It didnt become a problem until Rue's overdose. The pair had already talked about what theyd do if an accident like that were to happen so immediatly Lorelie yelled for Gia to call the cops and began hiding their supplies in stash jars around her room. There was this sense of guilt the younger girl felt while she put the extra coke in the ziplocs bag, hearing her sister throwing up but not bothering to look at her.
