Catra woke up pretty late into the morning, not letting her alarm place any effect on her. Once she finally got up, she got dressed in a cropped green hoodie with black bootcut jeans and black boots with lesbian-colored laces. She never felt shy to show people she was queer, but she found it hilarious when she placed such subtle things on her appearance to show it and nobody would notice.
A certain blond would have found it amusing; well , she hoped at least. However, hope doesn't always get results, and the results that she wanted were for this blond to return, but she knew that unfortunately... that would never happen.
After casting aside those saddening yet true thoughts, she made her way downstairs where her mom's where also getting ready for the day. "hi mom, mamà" Catra says. "Good morning Catra!" Her mothers Netossa and Spinerella both say in unison. "Are you ready? Need me to drive you" Netossa said swinging her keys on her fingers and dropping them in the process, but recovering quickly before they hit the floor.
"Yeah... No I'll walk" Catra says while Spinerella tried to hold in her laughter, failing terribly. After finishing the breakfast her mom made her, and having a 10-minute long lecture from her mamà about safety in highschool and making right choices that she would probably have to hear at some other time in the year, she was set and out the door.
'Man that lecture to a lot longer than I would have preferred' she thinks speedwalking to school to make it in time, not that she cared for school anyway. She finally made to the big gates of the highschool with big letters on the front in gold.
"Brightmoon Academy"
"Today's gonna suck."
