Eventually, they made it to Hirotaka's apartment.

Hirotaka unlocks the door and lets them both in. They both let out a sigh of relief to be out of the cold and somewhere warm. The apartment was dark and only a soft moonlight glow filled the entryway.

Narumi starts to untie Hirotaka's scarf from her neck. Before she could get it untied, Hirotaka was already helping. His slender, large hands gently started to pull the scarf undone.

Their eyes met. He was silently looking at her but looked like he might say something...

Narumi froze staring into his blue eyes. She could feel different energy coming from him tonight. He was confident and sure with his eye contact.

Hirotaka pulled the last of the scarf from her shoulders and hung it on the entryway wall hook. Then he motioned to start helping unbutton her winter coat.

"I-I've GOT IT!" Narumi uttered quickly. She hastily started taking her coat off and Hirotaka took a step back, breaking eye contact to take his coat off as well.

What is into him tonight?? Narumi thought. I mean we have been dating for a few months now and we've had a few quick kisses... but am I ready to do more if he asks?

She didn't have to think for long, she knew the answer.

She hung her coat up and watched as Hirotaka walked to turn on a few lights. Her eyes followed him, he had such a nice figure. Tall, broad shoulders, and a great ass. What? It's true.

"Want to play Mariokart?" Hirotaka asked from the living room.

"Sure!"

"The pink remote for you, my lady," Hirotaka said holding the plastic controller out towards her.

She slowly took it. He sat down on the couch and scooted his butt around as if to signal to get comfy. He looked up at her.

"Let's go, I'm ready to try the new vehicle we unlocked last week," he said. He patted the spot on the couch directly beside him.

Narumi's thoughts became frazzled. Should I sit that close to him? I usually just sit on the other end of the couch!

Screw it.

She sat down next to him, their thighs touching. Suddenly Narumi was very aware that she wore a pencil skirt and tights today. She could feel his warmth on her leg.

They played a few races, Narumi chose Toadette and Hirotaka chose Luigi.

"Ahhh a BLUE SHELL?!? You passed ME! Oh don't you worry I'm coming to get you back!" she shouted.

"Ok," Hirotaka replied in a monotone voice. –.–

Narumi was practically out of her seat trying to catch up to him. She smashed buttons furiously while Hirotaka sat calmly and raced with control.

Wahhh wahh wahhhhhhh the theme played as Narumi came in 8th place. Hirotaka in 1st; Luigi smiled waving to his fans driving away.

"AHHAghh!" Narumi threw up her hands in defeat and fell back on the couch. "Stupid," she pouted.

Hirotaka smirked down at her with a soft, low chuckle.

Their eyes met again. She could hear his slow steady breaths as he looked at her.

His eyes drifted down to their thighs touching. He reached out his hand to hold hers.

Both their breaths began to rise in fall in unison. It was warm now and comfy.

Narumi looked at his profile down to his neck, his white button-down shirt slightly undone at the top buttons. His chest rising and falling, his slacks bunched at his hips while he sat, and the zipper protruding right where...

She noticed where her thoughts had gone to and her eyes shot back up to his. He was looking at her again and, and leaning in!

His face inched closer to hers and her breath quickened.

But she was frozen in his gaze, he stopped. His face inches from hers. He looked tenderly at her lips now.

"May I?" he asked.

Narumi could only nod softly, her lips already softly parting. She was melting. He was so calm and comforting.

He suddenly closed the gap and pressed his lips to hers. His breath and lips warming hers as they met.
