Paxton's POV
When I went around the corner I didn't see anyone, till someone came behind me and hugged me tight.

I slipped out of their arms and turned around. It was my grandma and grandpa! I haven't seen them since I was young.

I let go of hugging my grandma. "Hey kiddo!" My grandpa said messing with my hair and hugging me. Taylor hugged them as well, I have known her since I was born so she knows my family.

I thought about it and it popped in my head. "Wait, where is mom and dad?"

"Well um, honey they sent us over here because they are going to be gone for" she stopped.

"How long!" I was growing impatient. "2 years." ️Wait what! I've been alone for a year and now they aren't coming back for 2 years!

I went to the living room while my grandparents went to their hotel to unpack. Yea I don't understand why they couldn't use 1 of the 4 guest bedrooms we have!

Taylor sat down beside me. "Wanna get ice cream?" She asked

"Yes." She makes me smile even when I'm sad.
