🛑My story contains cussing, so if you are uncomfortable, I apologize.🛑

The sky was bright and sunny, with a slight gust of wind. Birds were outside, chipping and flying around. It as a perfect day to get up and start the day, except for a certain boy.

Beep beep beep. Beep beep beep. Beep beEP BEEP. BEE-

Xiao's POV

"SHUT UP!" I screeched at the alarm clock. It was the first day at this new school, since my dad decided to move. Slumping off the bed, and stoping the annoying box from screaming, I noticed how a few of my bruises on my arm still aren't fully healed. A perfect excuse to wear a hoodie. (Also, his dad doesn't normally care what Xiao wears. He just wanted him to make a good impression on the first day) After doing my morning routine— brushing my teeth, hair, and getting dressed, I rushed out the door on an empty stomach. Big mistake.

After getting a few directions to the office from this... I assume teacher, I made my way down the hall. After opening the glass door, there stood a lady wearing white, blue, and teal.

"Hello dear. You must be Xiao. Pleasure to meet you. This girl will be showing you around the school today, to get you familiar with your new surroundings. I hope you enjoy your year here at Teyvat High. I leave Xiao in your care, Hu Tao."

With that, she left me with this girl, who seemed to radiate the same energy as Yoimiya. Not a good sign.

"Hi Xiao! I'm Hu Tao! Omg, you have such cool hair. Did you dye it, or were you born with it? I know a few people who have colored hair like you. :OOOOOO What color do you recommend for me? Maybe red, light brown, blue- OMG WE CAN MATCH!"

Yup, reminds me of Yoimiya. However, this one is louder. Worse that her fireworks. Actually, I take that back. This idiot, aka Yoimiya, decided to almost kill us, after bringing the wrong damn fireworks and almost setting the house on fire. Ever since then, I am still cautious when visiting. Snapping out of my thoughts, I respond.

"Can we not have such pointless chit chats? I don't intend on being your friend. I came to school to graduate, not to give you hair colors. Also, no. I don't want to match with you" I spat, hoping she would get the message and shut up.

"Awwwwww, don't be such a party pooper. Don't worry, I have my ways to get you to open up ;p"

Ew. After seeing my disgusted expression, she added onto her statement.

"Don't worry. I'm not into guys ;)"

Feeling tired of this girl and having no energy left, I glared at her. (Xiao is not homophobic. He's just tired and wants to get the tour over with. Sorry if that confused anyone)

"I don't care what's your sexuality. Can we just get on with the tour, or do you prefer me finding my own way and exploring?"

"NONO! I'LL SHOW YOU AROUND!"

*timeskip to 8 minutes*

"... and this is the cafeteria! Also, quick warning, never sit near that right corner" she said, pointing towards the direction.
"People always make out there, like what the heck. I'm trying to eat bro, and they are just sucking each other's faces. DisguStiNg."

After that statement, my stomach started to growl, making her laugh.

"PftTtt, you hungry? The lunch lady here is very nice, and the food here is pretty good. Better than our middle school. Xiangling's aunt works here and makes these really good pies- OMG LETS GET SOME PIES!"

She tried to grab my arm, but before making contact, I slapped her hand away. Hard. She looked at me, and I looked at her. Silence filled the room.

"Oh, hi Hu Tao! Are you also here to get a pie?"
