The Demon Princess' Forbidden Love

Prologue

Living in the Demon Realm , not too much difference from the Mortal Realm , except for the crime rate and the morals of the citizens. Smack dab in the heart of the land , surrounded by a large lake with a single bridge, sat a magnificent castle. It rose above the land stretching towards the sky. The black brick makes it look more like a shadow of a castle, it truly is a must see if you ever visit.

Ruling in this castle was the realms Royal Family. The Royal Family Nox. At the head of the family was the King. Damien Nox. He was known for ruling justly and protecting his citizens first and foremost. Ruling Beside him was his wife, Haven Nox, her role was to keep the King calm and being a voice of reason when nothing else worked. And finally we come to the last of the family, Me, My name is Dusk Nox. I am the princess of this realm and in training to be queen. Whether I think it is for better or worse....I have come to make up my mind.

Having been born here and raised to be queen I feel like it will work out, but I'm not sure if it really is for me. I haven't figured out if I want to be queen, or if I want to do something else with my life. I am the only child of my parents. There is no other option for an heir but me. So until my path is clear I am going to follow the life plan that was set out for me, that doesn't mean I'm not going to be a teenager either.

After the family are some of the servants that have been here since i was a little girl. They hire many species of demon, Vampires, demons of darkness, banshees, and so many more. Of them there a few that i have grown very fond of and i can say that they may be my only friends in the whole world.

With the weight of the thrown looming over my head the weight of a war between the kingdoms has weighed greatly over my Fathers head. Continuously taking him out to the front lines of battles. Leaving my mother to teach me, This is where my story begins so with no further ado...Welcome to hell...pun intended.
