Kabir~

Life was never in favour of me. It was the Habit of my destiny to play against my needs and wishes. When I wanted to live in Kashmir papa sent us to Mumbai. When I needed my mother she left me and I became Kabir Veer Sharma son of Martyr Captain Veer Sharma. His name united with mine always ignite the patriot in me. I wanted to join in Army following papa's path but again life played against my wish, and now I am Lieutenant commander of Indian Navvy, who instead of being in INS Ship dressed in the white navy uniform is now decked out in this clown attire and attending these weird party animals at the bar counter in some foreign grandeur ship. Who makes our mission head understands that a Navvy officer has to be surveillance and safeguarding shores and operating against threats inside the INS ship not barging into any ship in the mufti to capture any criminals. And these ridiculous flash off and on of lights along with absurd sounds are killing my mind.

Detaching me from these thoughts my mind got enthralled towards the sounds of some teens. I could hear them cheering for some reason. Two persons sitting on high stools at two polar for some task. While some dancing near the pool area vigorously. Not all invitees are like this, it's only some who are declaring themselves as crazy partygoers.

"You can you can, just 3 more shots," a few members encouraged a girl in a black outfit. While others yelled for the opposite man not to faint.

I got excited about them for no reason. I kept looking at them to know who wins. I wanted the girl to succeed it was only 2shots left for her to win at this moment.

My earpiece ringed instead instructing us to corner our prey near the party ball. I was about to depart when out of the blue customers arrived.

"6 Blood of Satan, on rocks" A girl in a brown outfit with loose wavy hazel hair and a few youngsters ordered.

"Pass it to him, I am in a hurry," I said politely to them.

"What? You should attend us," a tall guy came forward and contended.

"Just pass it to him, he is also an attendee. I am having another important wok," I tried brushing off them.

But that tall guy caught hold of my collar and continued.

"6 blood of Satan, on rocks! First, serve us and then leave," the tall guy repeated.

Can't they just get through that I am in a hurry?

"Just drink your own blood and pipe down," hot under the collar I spat and as soon as I received the instruction again I hasten my steps towards the ball.

3rd Person~

The darkness veiled the room in all corners making it invisible to see anything. Ridhima strolled into the room and switched on the light only to startle at the doorstep finding a silhouette sitting on the couch near her bed. She sighed seeing the face.

"Dad, you scared the hell out of me," Ridhima complained at Rudra.

"Hmm... I am seeing consequences of not scaring you when you were a child," Rudra taunted her raising his left eyebrow. Ridhima just gave a perplexed look to him.

"I heard that my pyaar-e-jaan is so engrossed in her work that she didn't come home on time, doesn't have time to eat, don't sleep and rise at the time and most importantly avoids her medicines," Rudra said showing stern in his voice.

"Dad, it's just... it's just that I want to give my full-on Inn-spire project," Ridhima cried.

"Brush it off, Come have your tea, Iced-lemon tea," Rudra offered her a cup of tea towards her.

"Salt?" She raised.

"Of course, how could I forget my daughter's weird taste," Rudra mocked her.

"Da'ad," she pouted.

"Have your tea, today we are having dinner together," Rudra announced.

"You didn't had your supper till now," Ridhima scolded him.

"How come I have my supper when my pyaar-e-jaan is hungry," He tried to explain.

"This is not right, come Dinner first! " Ridhima exclaimed.

"Yes your owner," Rudra bowed mocking her.
