I'm willing to let her kill me.

So I closed my eyes, ready to face my death.

*BANG*

But I didn't feel anything. I didn't feel a bullet pierce through my body. But I felt someone hugging me. So I opened my eyes to see what happened. Y/N definitely shot someone because her gun has steam coming out.

I didn't get shot...

Someone took the shot for me.

I tried to see who was the person with me by slowly breaking the hug. I was shocked to see who it was after seeing his weak face.

Soobin, my colleague, my close friend, one of the best police officers in my group. He was the one that took the shot for me. I immediately bursted into tears seeing him very weak because I don't want him to die.

Author POV

Y/N was very pissed that Soobin took the shot for Heeseung. She wanted to kill Heeseung real badly. So she aimed her gun at Heeseung again and she was very determined to actually kill him. She was slowly about to pull the trigger.

"Y/N. Jay. We have the gemstone in our hands. We must leave now," Suho called.

Y/N and Jay have in-ears which is why they heard Suho's voice. Y/N didn't want to leave yet because she was very focused on ending Heeseung's life. Suho was able to see Y/N from a screen and he saw Y/N not leaving.

"Y/N! Please! Leave that boy alone! I'll let you do what you want with him but now is not the time! We need to leave NOW!" He begged at her.

Y/N was thinking if she should kill Heeseung or let him be. After a couple seconds, she slowly put her gun away and left Heeseung immediately. Jay looked at her running back to the station and looked back at Heeseung who was holding Soobin. Then he followed Y/N, leaving Heeseung and Soobin as well.

Heeseung POV

Once I saw Y/N and Jay disappear from my sight, I tried to wake up Soobin and wanted to make sure that he's not dying.

"Soobin. Please wake up. Don't do this to me please!"

I started sobbing knowing that he might die. Soobin slowly opened his eyes and looked at me.

"Heeseung..." Soobin weakly called.

"Soobin! Please talk to me and stay awake!" I begged.

"Heeseung. W-We finally found Y-Y/N and Jay," he spoke.

"Yes I know but that's not important! What's important is that we need to get you treated!" I sobbed.

I wanted to call for help but there were so many people running away or helping each other escape that I couldn't find my group.

"D-Don't... w-worry... about me Heeseung... I did this... s-so you could... s-save... Y-Y/N and Jay. I-I-I want you... to be alive... s-so you could... save them... and be with Y/N... j-just like before," Soobin unstably spoke.

I couldn't say anything and just continued sobbing.

"P-Please... s-save... Y/N and Jay... I-I will...  b-be with you... in spirit Heeseung... I-I-I believe in you... F-Fighting!"

Those were the last things Soobin said before he slowly closed his eyes and became lifeless. I immediately bursted into tears and brought Soobin to my embrace as I continued crying for him. Once I saw my group gathered around me, I got off of Soobin. Sehun came forward to feel his pulse and just by the look on his face, I already knew his answer.
