I was always an early bird, so I was the first to walk around the house aimlessly, wearing a simple tank top that I had gotten years back that ended up being WAY to bigger than portrayed online, but fit me perfectly now, allowing a tiny mid drift. I wasn't a hoe so don't judge! I was wearing a pair of blue faded jeans and ankle high red socks.
My hair was pushed back into a bun, and the strands that refused to stay up tickled my shoulders. My father was up next, then Lau, and Larry. I could hear them talking and walking around overhead, but they didn't come down. I poked at a couple Cheerios floating in the empty milk and looked across the table at my father who was indulging himself in a bagel and the news paper. I guess he felt me staring,
"Why not for the day take Larry out to the woods and explore? We've got to take Laurent with us into town." He said all of this without looking up, and my face screwed up,
"Larry's twenty six, why can't he go on by himself? And why does Laurent need to go anywhere?" I questioned, and this caused my father to look from his paper and to me,
"Because the only car we have for the moment is mine, and me and their mother have shopping to do for this house. We can't survive off of cereal, bagels and coffee," he said, giving me a smile, but I didn't return it. I was still mad at him. His smile disappeared as quick as it came, and he looked back down with a sigh,
"And Laurent has some huge issue with his mother going into a unknown town, so he will be joining us," He paused and looked up to me. I held a permanent scowl.
"Or maybe Larry can come with us and you can be left here since you refuse to come into town."
"Fine," I groaned, standing up from the table and grabbed my dishes,
"I'll go "explore" the woods with Larry like we're kids," I mumbled, walking over to the sink and set my bowl and spoon down, turning around to see Larry and Laurent walking into the kitchen.
Larry was wearing a pair of black jeans that had a bit more moving around room then the ones before, with a red and black flannel tied around his waist, white short sleeved T-shirt that for some reason had little rips and tears around the end, and a black snapback that had a silver plaque on the front that read BOSS. Laurent traveled to the fridge, and I watched Larry follow him until his brother shot him a annoyed look over his shoulder.
Larry fake lunged at him, then stuck his tongue out at his brother before turning towards me. I pushed myself away from the sink and walked across the room towards the doorway, hoping he didn't see my obvious ass, and cursing myself for waiting until now to attempt and sneak away. As I was sure I was out of there with no problem, nearly out the open doorway, but it was like my father could sense I was leaving because he said, without even looking up from his fucking paper,
"Larry, you'll be spending the day with Nina as we run errands with Laurent."
I looked beyond my shoulder, and saw Larry looking at me, "Oh, belle! I guess I with you for the day," he said, walking the distance between us and I smiled sheepishly as I looked up at him and watched as he winked at me, the left side of his mouth lifting up into a smirk and revealing his flawless teeth.
Dear lord, I need Jesus on my side to survive the rest of this day. I motioned over my shoulder with my hand, "I need to grab some things from my room before we decide what to do today," I said.
"Oh, okai. I come with you," He said as I stepped back to turn around and go to the stairs, he did too.
"Stupid! She mean by herself," Laurent voiced in as he effortlessly grabbed the box of cereal that I had been struggling with this morning from the top of the fridge.
