I rush into Volleyball practice caitlyn getting dragged in "vi slow down!" Caitlyn yells out but i just ignore her, i like to be the first on there.

I push through the door only to realise im not the first one here, a tall girl with purple hair whos practising her serves, yet ive never seen her before but shes wearing our team jersey.

She turns around raising her eyebrow at me and caitlyn with a smile, as sweat drips down her face.

"Hey!" She yells out with a wave, we wave back caitlyn was very obviously staring, "stop staring cupcake" i mumble to cait pulling her over to the bench so she can watch practice.

I walk over to the girl putting my hand out for her to shake, "are you new to the team?" I ask having to look up slightly at the girl, i watch her nod before shaking my hand not roughly but not softly either.

"Im ze, but my full name is zero" she says brightly letting go of my hand as sweat drips down her darker toned skin, "vi, but my full name is violet" i say with a small smile.

"And thats caitlyn my best friend" i say feeling hurt sink in at the words and i knew ze could tell, "you like her more than a friend dont you?" She asks nudging me breaking me from my trace.

"yeah, but i dont think she feels that way" i blurt out, she looks at me before jumping and spiking the volleyball, "are you crazy, she literally staring at you" she laughs making me turn pink.

I look over and make eye contact with caitlyn, i hear ze laugh from beside me "lets actually pratice pinky" she jokes nudging me, making me act fake shocked "excuse meeeeee?" I say questioning her as she laughs again.

"You heard me" she says chucking me a volleyball, "oh your on, gumdrop" i snicker as i narrow my eyes at her, she smirks cracking her neck and knuckles.

"Come on pretty girl"
