Finally, I had reached the fourth floor. I checked my watch and I was two minutes late my school has way too much pride so I would never even be able to get away with being two mins late. I walked to the lab room slowly opening the door so that Mr. Beck wouldn't notice me.
"Aphrodite! Your late, you know I hate tardiness." Mr. Beck said humorously
" Sorry, it won't happen again" I replied
"I'll let you off the hook just this once." Mr. Beck said
"Thanks, Mr. Beck," I smiled.
" Your seat is next to Mars by the way." He replied
I nodded my head and sat next to him. I rolled my eyes in frustration. We listened to Mr. Beck ramble on about Protons, Neutrons, and Electrons. I had to save myself from going to sleep but I had to make an effort it's Mr. Beck he's the nicest teacher.
It was another partner task and the teacher was watching us closely and so was Leanna I forgot to mention this was the only class we were both in together I smiled at her but she was too busy staring at him. Mars. I tried talking about the work but he just simply yawned and said whatever. THE AUDACITY.

After, six tiring periods we made it here. Home. My haven that's only when my Dad's not home. I'm worried, my parent's marriage is falling apart they're always arguing all the time about every single thing and I bet soon it's going to get physical all I can do is hope it doesn't. I tried to create a bond with my parents but they were always way too busy and it was extremely Frustrating.
Today there was no one home I'm not surprised, to be honest, it was always just me alone as usual this had become the norm, but I loved the fact that even though they were always busy they'd still try and leave me sticky notes. such as there's food in the fridge princess and that's what the sticky note they left today said.
I threw my handbag on the couch and used my phone I texted Leanna especially when my parents weren't home she was always ready to keep me company.
Aphrodite: hey, girl how are you?

Aphrodite: Mars?!
ʟᴇᴀɴɴᴀ💗<3: yes how do you not freak out when you're right next to him
Aphrodite: Because he's so arrogant and stuck up, Anyways enough about him wanna come over?
