"Unnie?" Jennie softly said before opening the door
"Come in!" Jisoo stands up from her bed and let Jennie enter her room.
The older girl noticed that Jennie looks nervous, she wanted to ask why but decided to shut her mouth and waited for the younger girl to speak. She didn't just expect Jennie to look like this, she thought the girl will look like a happy kid because she won the games on the stream.
"C-can I stay here for tonight?"
"Yes. Of course. My room is always open for you. You're always welc-"
Jisoo got cut off when Jennie suddenly hugged her
"Thank you"
The older girl wrapped her arms around Jennie and gave her the warmest hug that she could give. She knows Jennie will hear her heartbeat.
"Why are you sad?" Jisoo asked
"Nothing"
"Mmm....don't lie to me"
Jennie chuckled which made Jisoo smile
"I'm just worried"
"About what?"
"About the case. I am slowly believing that we will not catch those scammers and I'm not expecting to get my money back anymore"
"Sorry, I couldn't check the case these past few weeks. I'm just very busy but I will work on it this w-"
"Don't be sorry. You've already helped me a lot. You're doing your job for yourself, for me and for this house, our home, I am thankful for that"
Jisoo closed her eyes tightly and did her best not to smile so wide when Jennie said 'our home'
"I'll go to the boys later to ask some updates" Jisoo tap Jennie's shoulder and the younger nods
"Okay. I'll go to police station too though. They told me that some victims got interviewed few days ago"
Jisoo pulled away from the younger girl and cupped her cheeks
"Okay. Let's see each other later?"
Jennie hummed and nod like a kid
'What the fuck is wrong with my heart' Jisoo thought

"So you're telling me you like Jennie unnie?!" Lisa screamed when Jisoo sat on her car's passenger seat
"No...it's not like that. I mean...not yet, maybe?"
"Stop being coward, unnie! Stop wasting your and Jennie unnie's time!" Lisa whined
"I don't know, Lisa. Everything feels different when it comes to Jennie. The first time I saw her, I find her cute and attractive" Jisoo chuckled and blushed a bit
"The moment I stepped in her place, I felt something weird. And as I get to know her more, it's getting bigger and stronger. I always want to protect her, I want to give all of the things to see her smile and happy, and make her feel safe"
"And loved" Lisa added making Jisoo roll her eyes
"Just give it a shot, take the risk so you wouldn't have regrets!"
"Lisa, I don't want to hurt her"
"Why would you hurt her?"
"No, what I mean is that I don't want to make a move yet because I am not clearly sure about my feelings for her" Jisoo looked at her phone when she heard a ding from it.
Jennie sent her a message.
"Oh c'mon! Stop giving me that smile, unnie!"
Jisoo chuckled only and typed her reply to the younger girl
After a few minutes, Lisa stopped the ar as they've reached the boys's place.
"What aren't you moving?" Lisa asked and decides to unbuckled Jisoo's seatbelt
"Give me two weeks"
"Huh?"
"Two weeks. I'll figure out my feelings for Jennie"
"You're crazy" Lisa shook er head
"Bitch you told me to move my ass! I thought you'll support me?!" Jisoo playfully punched Lisa's arm
"I am just joking! No need to be aggressive!" Lisa said and pushed Jisoo making the both of them laugh
"But Unnie, I am sad that you didn't told me that you were feeling something fruity back then" Lisa pouts
"You didn't asked me" Jisoo answered and got out of the car
"God. She's so stupid"
