CHAPTER 1: BACK IN TIME

JENNIE'S POV

"nie... "

Huh?

"Jennie... "

What is—

"MISS JENNIE!!"

I jointed from my bed and saw a familiar person wearing an maid outfit.

I adjusted my vision since I still can't see straight and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"Miss.. You need to wake up. Sir Joo-hyuk is waiting for you at the dining area to eat break— "

I jump out from my bed and hug the person in front of me, tightly.

"NAYEON!!!"

"WAHHHHH MISS, DON'T JUST JUMP OUT FROM THE BED!! WHAT IF YOU GET HURT?!?"

Goshhhh!! I haven't seen her in months! But wait! That's not the problem here!!

She started scolding me, but I couldn't hear what she was saying cause I was lost in thought.

Didn't I just.. Died...? Is this heaven? but why does this looks like my old house??

What was I thought when reality struck me.

Wait.. If I'm in heaven.. —THEN WHY THE FUDGE IS NAYEON HERE?!!

I broke our hug (yes we were still hugging when I space out) and I quickly examined her body.

"Miss—"

Dont tell me, that psycho Joo-hyuk killed her after they killed me?!

"Nayeon, how did you get here? Aren't you supposed to be alive??" I said as I keep walking around her.

I touch her face and it felt warm.

Huh? Aren't dead supposed to be cold? Wait, does this mean I'm the only one whose a ghost?

"Miss, what are you doing?" She asked confusedly as she tilted her head a bit to the side.

"Nayeon, touch me. " I said and I was confused when her face turned to bright red.

"W-w-w-what?! But M-miss—" I cut her off by grabbing her hand and let it touch my face.

I thought my hand would go passed through her's since I'm a ghost.

Again, her face turned much more redder than a tomato.

"So?" I asked, she turned to me with a  red and puzzled face of hers.

"H-huh?"

"Am I hot or cold?" I said as I waited for her response.

"What are saying? Of course, you're hot!" She said in a cheerful voice as usual while me? I was dumbstruck.

Wait..wait..wait... Does this mean.. I'm alive..?

I was too surprised that I felt dizzy all of the sudden.

Nayeon started panicking when she saw my face turned pale.

"Oh my gosh! Miss! are you okay?!" She help me sat down on my bed while I was still busy with my thoughts.

Dont tell me.. I went back in time?!

"Are you okay?? Should of I call the doctor?" I stared at nayeon's panic face and I put my hand onto her shoulder to calm her down.

"Im fine. " I reassure her but she still doesn't look convince.

Come to think of it...

"Nayeon, didn't you say J-Jooh–hyuk is waiting for me to eat breakfast..?" I stuttered and felt disgusted when his came out of from my mouth.

Ughh I should brush my teeth and use mouthwash after this..

"Huh?— I mean, yes! He ordered me to wake you up and tell you to come down stairs and go eat breakfast with him. " She said.

So I was right.

But.. I need to confirm it if I really did came back in time.

"Nayeon, I know it's weird to ask you this, but uhmm, " I trailed off as I stare at Nayeon's confuse face.

"Wh-what year and date are w-we today exactly?" I almost slap myself for stuttering.

She looks confused, but she still answered.

"It's 20**, August 23, Miss..." She said, and her face is telling me Why–is–she–asking–this look <_<

And once again, I was dumbstruck.

WHAT THE FREAK?! I WENT BACK TO A YEAR AGO?!?

I told Nayeon to tell that jerk that I'm not (Never) going to have breakfast with him and made up an excuse saying that I'm not feeling well today.

Of course, Nayeon believe me and left me after that but she still looks worried but I gave her my famous gummy smile before she left.

I sigh and drop my body to the bed.

I let all of what is happening today, sink into my brain and another sigh escape my lips.

What should I do now?
