Skylars P.O.V :dad says he want to see me in a place called the combat room with uncle Jerome and uncle Mitch so I'm kinda excited because I've never been in that room before.once we get in there it's really big and there are these fake blue things with tenticals and all these cool weapons like swords,bows and axes.I see my dad,uncle Jerome and uncle Mitch with a budder sword,bow and arrows and a Betty and one of those blue thingys with tenticals.
Me:Hey dad!
Dad:Hey kiddo me and your uncles thought it was time for you to learn how to use these weapons.so which weapon do you want to start with.
Me:I'll chose the sword
Dad:that's my girl
Dad passes me a sword and leads me to one of those blue things.
Dad:so I want you to try to slice it
So I take a swing at it and I only make a small cut
Dad:No No,watch me
Dad takes the sword go,s up to the blue thingy and takes a big swing and makes a really big cut that makes a lot of stuffing come out
Dad:you have to put more force into it also it's better to imagine it as some one you hate
So dad passes me the sword back.I back up,toke a deep and ran up to it and made a big cut that made the rest of stuffing fall out.
Dad:Ya just like that,so who were you imaging?
Me:this jerk at school who always teases me about wearing my sunglasses inside,but no big deal I know who to deal with him,plus I have my best friend Angle.
Dad:Ok good,but if things get out of hand you can talk to me.
Me:ya,I know
Uncle Mitch:So do you want to try the bow next
Me:Ok
So Uncle Mitch went through a door and came out dragging one of those blue thingys but it had a bullseye sign on the front.He drags the blue thingy with bullseye sign against a blank wall.He walks up to me grabs the bow and an arrow with budder where the flint should be and passes it to me.
So Uncle Mitch lead me to a spot in front of the bullseye but kinda far back.he shows me how to hold it and how to pull back the arrow and aim.
Uncle Mitch:so try to hit the middle
Me:ok
I pull back the arrow and aim at the middle.I release the arrow and it hits one ring away from the bullseye.
Me:Dang it!
Uncle Mitch: hey,it's ok that's pretty good for your first try
Me:really?
Uncle Mitch:Ya!
Uncle Jerome:Now it's the baccas turn!!
Dad:alright Jay-rome!
I pass the bow and arrow back to uncle Mitch and have uncle Jerome pass me a Betty.once I get it It's really heavy.
Uncle Jerome:Maybe we should wait till you get a bit more muscles
Me:ya probably
Dad:so how do you like combat
Me:it was pretty fun swinging that sword
Uncle Jerome:Well you'll love swinging axes then
Then my mom poked her head through the door
Mom:suppers ready!!
All:YAAAA!!!!
