Game Night 💭

A/N - Monopoly: 'Super Electronic Banking' edition. In this version, there are 4 cards each player takes with an added benefit to it. This board game has only two properties for each color around the board, and each player card has an additional benefit to it.

There's a flight space, if you aren't the plane (it's free for them), you pay $100 to move anywhere on the board, and there's a forced trade space where you can switch one of your properties for another player's.

There's no hotels, cash, and there isn't any selling or mortgaging in this edition. Wanted to explain this in case y'all only play the original or another edition 🤟🏾✨

Y/N POV

"Oi! You fucking bastard! I'll blow your ass to bits right now!" Bakugou angrily shouted, his eyebrows stitched together as his mouth scowled.

"You can try it Bakubitch, but I've already beat your ass! Several times in fact!" You replied, smirking at the glare he shot your way.

"Uhh guys, can you roll the dice already?" Kirishima scratched his neck nervously, his other hand holding his card decorated with a yellow car and fake numbers.

"Mina can roll the dice after he pays me my damn money." You narrowed your eyes and held out a hand towards Bakugou.

"I'm not paying a damn thing dumbass! You stole park place from me and gave me this shitty ass property!" He growled and threw Baltic Avenue on the ground.

You were sitting at a table in the living area with some other members of the Bakusquad. In front of you sat a board of Monopoly with most of the properties divided between you and Bakugou.
You were playing the 'Super Electronic Banking' edition, with Bakugou as the airplane, Mina as the shopping bag, you were the vault, and Kirishima was the car. Currently, everyone was trying to convince Bakugou to pay you for landing on your property.

Upset, you stood up and scoffed at him. "I can't steal a property when it's apart of the damn game! You had no problem taking Indiana from me!" You crossed your arms and glared daggers.

He made a 'tch' sound and huffed before silently sliding his card into the reader and paying the rent to you. It made an airplane whoosh and then a Ching noise followed. Satisfied by the few hundred in your bank now, you sat back down with a triumphant smile. A very angry middle finger popped up across from you.

"Now, Mina can go." You stated calmly, fixing your bonnet.

She laughed at you two and then shook the dice. "You'd make a cute couple if you didn't argue all the time. If this lands on a 6, I called it!"

"WHAT DID YOU SAY SHITTY NERD?!"

Both of your heads whipped to Mina as she threw the dice unto the board happily, enjoying the chaos she caused. Terrified, two pairs of eyes landed on...

A two.

A bark of laughter erupted from the explosive boy. "What a fucking joke! Even fate said it wouldn't happen!"

You rolled your eyes and slumped, an elbow on the table with your head on your hand. "That's some bullshit..." You mumbled under your breath.

Secretly, your heart fell into your stomach hearing Bakugou's words, but a fire replaced it when you remembered who you were. You're Y/N L/N and even if you didn't have Bakugou's heart, you could still hand him his ass on a silver platter. You encouraged yourself some more, ignoring that gnawing feeling of hurt.

After another 30 minutes of arguing and laughing at Kirishima's tendency to go to jail often, the winner was finally announced.

It was you! With Park Place pulling through as a true investment alongside its brother Boardwalk, you raked in the cash and grabbed everyone's last dollars before they managed to pass go.

Bakugou growled at you as you celebratory danced. "Whatever you stupid dumbass. You only won because of the damn card you picked."

Haughtily, you waved it in front of his face. "Oh, are you referring to this, Mr. Bakugou?~"

He flashed his teeth and then grabbed your wrist tightly. Your heart beat quickened as he pulled you towards the middle of the table, mere inches from his face. This close to him, you could examine everything. His beautiful red eyes, sharp jawline, and even his sexy barbell piercing in his ear. You remembered him showing up to class with it a few months ago, bragging about how it didn't hurt and messing with it throughout class.

"Oi! Pay attention to me fucker!"

You snapped out of your daze and looked back up at his eyes. His breath brushed your cheeks and if you weren't s/c, you were sure you'd be the shade of a fruit roll up by now.

"Calm it you damn brat. I'll win for sure next time, so be prepared to go bankrupt!" He smirked and then let you go.

Falling back softly, you managed to clear your throat and keep your voice steady. Painting a sarcastic smile on your face, you rolled your eyes.

"Yeah, whatever big head."
