One more stack of papers from the senate to go and I'll be done. I wish Jason was here to help me with these, it takes forever to do them as one person. Sometime I just feel like giving up, not over these stupid papers but every minor detail I have to deal with to the biggest quests. I sighed frustrated and picked up another piece of paper to go through when one of the guards of the principia walked in looking somewhat confused.

"Uhm There's someone to see you. They.. you.. I mean uhg i don't know" The guard sighed.

"Just send them in," I ordered. I was confused, no one was supposed to visit me right now, who could it have been. I kept my defenses up in case it was an intruder. Who I saw confused me for a second.

They looked just like me, top to bottom but a couple years older and seemed to have a few more scars in her face. I couldn't figure out if it was a trick of the mist of something. Usually I can see through the mist perfectly fine.

"You might have been able to fool others as my sister, but who are you?" I asked, my face expressionless. The girl in front of me chuckled. She gave me a smile like I was supposed to know something.

"Reyna, I know You know full and well who i am" She said with a small smile, barely noticeable but i could find it. It was something I rarely show.

"Just because I might know it, doesn't mean I do believe it." I retaliated.

She spoke, though only a second later my mind registered as Latin. "I know what you think you did at San Juan was a crime, it wasn't, you come to know that with time, just like you understand what Aphrodite meant at Charleston harbor"

I thought about what she said, my face still expressionless, the San Juan incident was hard to believe she knew but not impossible, but Charleston Harbour definitely put me off. No one knew about that, not even Jason.

"I know it, cause I'm you" She said.

"From the future" I stated. She sat down on the chair across from her, taking some jelly beans from my bowl. She popped them in her mouth as I really took everything into consideration as to if it was real. Her- my - our? Hair was longer than before but still just as thick, though it wasn't in my regular braid. It was in a ponytail.

I leaned forward knitting my fingers together "if you're really me from the future, what's happened?"

"Well, for one you're not Praetor anymore." She stated plainly. But that was anything but plain.

"What!" I somewhat quietly screamed, I composed myself and asked again.

She chuckled "you don't have to be formal with me, I'm you, I know you wish you had someone to be normal with."

"And for the Praetor situation, Frank and Hazel are Praetors now"

Once again, I was surprised, "How? Did die, cause you're clearly here, what happened."

She found it quite amusing. "Frank and Hazel proved themselves. They're better praetors that you and Jason ever were, better than you and Percy ever were"

"Percy took my offer" I asked.

"Yea, and he became Praetor, for about 2 hours" She shrugged, 2 hours what?

"Yea there was a big mess" She laughed.

I sighed taking everything into account "ok then if i'm- we're not Praetor, then what's happened to us"

She leaned back in the chair, which was a tad bit reclinable, we got that changed after someone complained about it being way too inflexible.

"You joined a group of immortal teenage hunters"

I was quite quizzical about that but it didn't seem any more ridiculous than the rest of the stuff.

"Jason's sister leads that group" she added very plainly.

"Jason has a sister? He never told me"

"Did you ever tell him you had one?" She retaliated.

When I didn't reply she got a smug smile on her face. Yes, that's definitely me. I mean of course he had a sister, it didn't sound any more ridiculous than everything else i've so far, but she only looks 2-3 years older so how did all that happen that fast? Wait if she's immortal, she could be from 20 years in the future and i wouldn't know, but that means i would have joined that group only a couple years from now.

"Are Jason and I friends anymore?" I asked.

"Yea, very close" She smiled "but you're even closer to Nico"
"The son of Pluto?" I couldn't believe that

"Yes, he's practically my brother if I had to put it simply."

Oh wow things changed I guess "Nico, but how?" I asked.

"I guess, he was there when you needed someone the most and you shared your secrets with him and you were there for him when no one else would be and he trusted you." She shrugged. "You end up making many real friends in life, all ones you can trust and be yourself around, so just hang on"

Once again I just sat there not knowing what to say, I mean what can you say if your future self comes to you and with all sorts of information.

"Oh also Octavian's dead" she spoke, so bluntly like it was the simplest thing.

My eyes bulged out of my head, she knew what i was gonna say next

"Yup, he's dead, good riddance too, or i would have had to kill him myself,"

"That one line made up for everything" I confirmed.

She laughed and got up. Walked around the table and wrapped her arms around me in a hug, I froze, I wasn't sure what to do. It's been a while since anyone's hugged me. I hugged her back and let go.

"Brace yourself Rey, things are gonna get tough. But I know you can do it, cause... well I'm you and don't worry, You'll get through" She promised. And with that she walked out of the principia leaving me alone to replay everything in my mind and try to make sense of it . I know one thing, I'll just have to hang on, with what she said the future looks like a bright place plus Octavian's dead so I can't really complain.
