I heard the ride start clicking, we went up slowly a little, then down, the up again a little more then down again and it paused...
"Was that it?" I spat out.
Jasper just laughed.
"What's so fun-" I cut caught off when we flew up.
I screamed, it sounded blood curdling, like someone being murdered the worst death possible, I latched onto jasper hugging his arm since that's all I could grab as soon as we hit the top we flew down even faster my scream even worse and my grip even tighter I managed to open my eyes and for a split second look at the beautiful lights in the night even though I'm latched onto a stranger I felt somehow just for a split second... Comfortable, I had no clue how, the warm air flying through my curls as the flew up, I know everyone in all of Jacksonville beach Florida heard my scream, somehow that made me laugh even flying through air, I smiled, I looked out at the lights then at the stars.
After all that in those seconds the ride stopped, he unlatched us and I went over and slipped my flip flops back on.
"Hey that was fun huh?!" Jasper said his hair ruffled now .
"Yeah it actually was." I laughed.
"Sooo wanna hangout the rest the night? You are alone right?" He smiled.
For a brief moment Blake popped into my mind, but then it disappeared, we hate eachother.
"Yeah sure!" I beamed, "lets go!!"
"Great!! Wanna ride the slingshot they take our picture too!!" He said excited.
"Sure I've never heard of it though." I admitted.
"You'll love it." He grinned grabbing my hand and started running towards the ride I assumed.
We got in line we were next already, which surprised me, and all I saw was a big clear ball? Um big whoop... Then it shot up... Far...
"No way I'm getting in that thing." I protested.
"Oh yes you are." He laughed
" what if the cords break go into space?!" I exclaimed
"They won't I promise." He laughed and assured.
"How can you be so sure?" I mumbled under my breath as he drug me over to it, he got in first and the operated had to coax me to get in assuring my it was safe.
"Alright you two ready?!" The operator said excited.
"Hell yeah!!" Jasper exclaimed.
"Not really..." I muttered scared half to death.
I was already clung to Jasper.
"Alright then lets go!!" The operator said before releasing us into the air we flew high and again my girly blood curdling scream.
When we finally came down I put my natural dark brown long curls back into place.
"All this screaming made me thirsty!" I said pulling Jasper over to a concession stand.
"Want anything?" I asked Jasper.
"No thanks I'm good." He smiled
"Okay, one coke please." I told the woman.
"Okay sugar, $1.59 please." She beamed.
I reached into my pocket but before I could pay, Jasper did.
The woman handed me my coke as we walked away.
"Oh here Jasper." I said trying to hand him money to pay back.
"Nah it's on me." He beamed.
"Awe thanks." I smiled.
"No problem." He chuckled.
We walked by games and concessions when I saw "the great water gun
Race."
"Jasper lets play!!" I beamed excitedly.
"Haha well okay." He laughed
We went up and handed the lady money we started, at first before the lady started we played with the water I squirted him and pretty soon we were soaked, the lady just laughed, when she started I was in the lead, but I ended up in last and Jasper had won.
Aweee but I wanted the teddy bear. Oh well...
"Hey Zara which do you want?" He smiled.
"The teddy bear!" I beamed.
"She's a keeper." The lady smiled and handed him the teddy bear.
He handed it to me and I hugged it.
"Lets go get cotton candy!" He hooted.
We went to the stand both smiling and the man asked, "His and her cotton candy's?"
I'm guessing that meant couples.
"What's that?" I asked.
"For couples, pink for the lady and blue for the gentleman." He smiled.
"Sure!" Jasper said.
"Ohhh pinks my favorite !!" I squealed.
"And blues mine." He grinned and paid.
