SCARLET'S POV•••
I held the camera with steady hands as I attempted to get a shot of today's sunrise.
After messing with the exposure, positioning, and a few more features I snapped the picture.
A smile arose on my face when I noticed a plane flying through the sky the moment I snapped the photo. The sky was a mix of reds, oranges, and yellows. It was cloudy today so all of the clouds just made everything more enjoyable to look at.
Mesmerizing would be the word to describe the morning view from my apartment's balcony.
Just as I was going to make my way back inside, I caught movement on the balcony beside mine.
Curiously looking over, the view caused my cheeks to heat up and my eyes to widen.
There on the balcony was my neighbor who stared at me from afar.
In her boxers and sports bra.
This woman has literally no shame whatsoever.
She raised her eyebrow, chuckling to herself at what I assumed to be my shocked facial expression.
"Sleep well, cara?" she asked while shamelessly checking out my body.
I nervously shifted on my feet and just nodded at the blue eyed girl, afraid to trust my voice at the moment.
Upon her stare, I came to realization at what I was wearing and quickly squeezed my thighs together. As I wore every night, I was only clothed in an oversized tee, underwear, and fuzzy socks.
The black haired girl continued to study me, looking for something. I watched quietly from afar at the way her eyebrows slightly furrowed at moments and how her lips would twitch, signifying her resistance in smiling— or smirking.
It was a very awkward situation, but I couldn't find it in me to break the hold her eyes held on me.
That was until my best friend yelled my name.
"Scarlet!"
I immediately stopped the staring contest that we were in and quickly made my way into the apartment, leaving my camera behind.
I let out a breath as I closed the slide door and walked further into my apartment in search for Estella.
When I found her I came to a stop in the kitchen.
She was sloppily searching through the cabinets, slamming one and moving to another when she didn't find what she was looking for in the previous.
I blinked, "Stella?"
She turned around to face me and exhaled, "Thank god. Do you have Aspirin?"
Remembering last night's events, my mouth formed into an 'o' shape and I smiled sheepishly as I walked down the hallway and into my bathroom. Once I found the small bottle of pills in my medicine cabinet, I returned back to the kitchen and handed it to my grumpy best friend.
I had sobered up during the shower I took last night, so my headache wasn't as bad as Estella's which explains our different moods.
"Take these— not all of them— while I make us some breakfast, okay grumpy pants?"
Said girl glared at me as she grabbed a water bottle from my fridge, signaling that she didn't find my joke funny.
I folded my lips and nodded my head while pushing her out of the kitchen, "Go distract yourself."
As if on cue a phone rang, and seeing as I had mine on silent it had to be hers. I nodded my head to my room and watched as she drug her feet back there.
"Who calls someone this early in the morning?!" she whined.
I laughed and started to pull things out that I would need to make pancakes.

RAVEN'S POV
"Kill her." she deadpanned.
Assuming that she was speaking of a certain curly haired brunette— because of our recent interaction, my eyebrows pulled together.
I stared up at her with a confused expression, "Why?"
Hera seemed taken back for a moment, but she quickly recovered, "Since when do you need a reason to kill someone?"
"Since I've become interested in the person you want dead all of a sudden." I stated, shrugging my shoulders as I let my hair out of the high ponytail I had styled it in.
I watched as she drug her tongue across her perfect set of teeth before placing her legs on each side of my waist, seating herself on my lap.
She placed her middle and pointer fingers underneath my chin and lifted my head until we were face to face.
Her lips were only a few centimeters away from mine and her other hand went to my hair where she tugged at it softly, eliciting a small hum of pleasure on my end.
Her head tilted and she asked in a whisper, "What's so interesting about her, hm?"
"Why do you want her dead so badly?" I lifted my gaze up from her lips and instead stared deeply into her set of emerald eyes. "Hm?"
Hera smirked and pushed my shoulders, causing me to fall back onto my bed. She crawled on top of me until our faces met and then she leaned down until her lips were right about my ear.
My eyes slightly fluttered when I felt a cold metal take the place of where Hera's fingers were recently positioned.
"What game are you playing, Young?"
I chuckled, "I wasn't aware there was a game, but if you're really asking, it's the kind of game that has very little to no rules " I bit my bottom lip as I slithered my arms around her waist, "Are you done turning me on or is there something else you wanna do with your little friend?"
At the mention of her gun, she pushed the metal deeper into my skin, causing my head to lift slightly.
"I think you've had enough excitement for today." she whispered above me, slowly retracting the gun from my skin.
She placed a kiss on my lips just before she hopped off of me and fixed her lipstick in her reflection of the gun.
"Where are you going?" I questioned, sitting up on my elbows as I watched her fix her attire.
"If you don't want to do it I can't force you. You're too stubborn for that. However, I have many other ways to get what I want."
And with that she sauntered out of my room and out the front door.
I shook my head and ran my fingers through my hair.
