Strangers, friends, to lovers (a Sam and Colby story)

The casino drama

You put on your dress and shoes on and feel a little insecure about how the dress looks on you. You struggled about walking out of the bathroom and even going anywhere. You hated the way you looked, you always have ever since you were younger. It was now getting a little bit darker outside and the casino was next to the hotel already so you didn't have to drive there, the only thing you had to do was walk outside to the casino. You finish your makeup and walk out of the bathroom. You look down from the steps and Colby's sitting on the couch waiting for you with his suit on. He looked so hot sitting there on his phone.

You walk down the steps and Colby looks up at you from his phone. "Your so gorgeous, how did I get so lucky". You smile at him and he grabs your waist and pulls you in to kiss you. He continues, you suddenly stop and look at him and say "Colby we can't do this now we have somewhere to go", while laughing. He then says "your right haha". You and him head out of the room to go to the casino. You record you and Colby walking out and down to the hallway and joke around a little bit and run down the hallway for the camera.

While your walking outside to the casino Colby's phone starts ringing, it's Sam. You couldn't really hear what Sam was saying because the phone was up to Colby's ear and all you could hear was Sam talking really fast. Then you hear Colby saying "how could you forget". Colby puts the phone on speaker and then you hear sam saying "I didn't think a puppy could do all this mess, it's so tiny".

At that point you knew what had happened. Sam forgot about the puppy in Colby's room and made a mess. You then say "Sam I told you before I left to not forget about him", Sam sounded frustrated and then said "he chewed up everything". Colby then said "well watch him often and CLEAN UP MY ROOM, your dog better not of chewed any of my clothes", sam then says a little quiet "there's a chewed up Louis Vuitton purse, shit". Colby hangs up the phone and looks at me. He could tell you heard what Sam said and how angry you were. "That purse was so expensive, omg no, what am I going to do".

You sit down on a bench next to the casino and haven't went in yet. Colby puts his arm around you and says "it's gonna be fine y/n, I can get you a new one". You shake your head no and then say "I can't afford that right now, I'm paying off bills, I'm not making you pay for that, it took me months to save up for that purse it was a gift to myself for myself". You start texting Sasha on your phone and try to forget about the fact that a purse over 1 thousand dollars is ruined. Colby says "let's go in the casino, having a drink or two will make everything better". You and Colby get up and walk into the casino

The casino was full of people. You begin to follow Colby because you never really been to the casino before and he has. The body guard that Colby hired lead us in. Casinos were the biggest thing about Vegas, so you just had to go. You were following Colby and had your hand on his shoulder. Two fans seen you and Colby walking in and took a photo. The girl came up to you and said "do you want me to send this photo to you, I just thought you would like to post it".

The photo was actually super cute so you said "omg yes thank you so much, you should be a photographer!". She smiles and says "that's my major in high school, thanks y/n you inspire me so much!". You smile and she walks away. You hear your phone buzz and she sent you the photo through Instagram, so you posted it on your insta.

You and Colby get to the bar and he orders both of you drinks. He got you and him a shot and some wine. You take the shot and carry the wine with you and start playing slot games. You didn't really like the slots because what's the point of your just going to loose your money. You record the whole casino with your camera and you and Colby playing slots.

You put 15 dollars in the machine and start playing and loose. You do a couple more machines, while Colby is on the other slot machine games on the other side of the casino not to far away. You finished your wine up so you took the glass back to the bar.

You were walking away from the bar and your phone was going crazy with notifications from your Instagram post so you put it on do not disturb. You try looking for Colby and see him from afar playing slots still and start walking towards him. You then get a call from Sasha.

You: hello?

Sasha: y/n I'm so sorry about your purse, I can help you with the money to replace it

You: no it's fine, I don't need another anyway, I have plenty of purses

Sasha: are you sure because I know that was your favorite purse?

As you were about to answer Sasha, you bumped into some guy and say, "I'm so sorry sir, I was on the phone and wasn't paying attention". The guy looks back after you bumped into him and says "oh it's fine". You and the guy look at each other and you were in shock. You started to breath heavy and couldn't get any words out.

Sasha: y/n? Hellooo, are you there, are you okay?

You hang up the phone. The guy says "y/n?". You look around awkwardly and say "oh Um hey...". You bumped into your toxic abusive ex boyfriend, Gage. You and him haven't seen each other in years. Before you broke up, you and him lived in a apartment together and were really happy until he changed. You don't know why he suddenly just changed. He would call you names, hit you and beat you. He is super skinny and tall and has blonde hair that's a little short just over his ears.

Gage was with his friends drinking. He looked you up and down and said "you changed, what are you a famous model now". His friends laughed about what he said. Obviously it was an insult. You always wanted to be a model and applied for many modeling company's but never made it into one, gage knew that. "Get away from me gage, I hoped I'd never see you again but I guess I hoped to much". You tried walking away but gage pulled your arm and said "sit down and have a drink with us". You pulled back and said "no, your an asshole". Gage continued to pull you.
