Consequences

Pran could not handle the stress and fainted. He was rushed to the hospital by his and Pat's parents.

Meanwhile in a different part of the town someone was pacing left right unable to calm his stressed mind.

'Pat'

Yes, the person pacing is none other than our Pat. He was hiding in Korn's dorm away from his family and Pran.

Korn: Pat

Pat: hmm

Korn: Are you sure about this?

Pat just nods his head. He had already spoken to Korn about what happened between him and Pran. Korn knew where Pat was while everyone else was searching for him. Pat had made him promise not to tell anyone about him.

Korn: Pat, Pran was really worried for you. He could not stop crying thinking about you.

Pat: He is better off without me. His entire life I have been the cause of all his pain. I just want him to be happy.

Korn: Pat, he loves you a lot. Your presence in his life makes him happy.

Pat: NO.. Our families will never agree to our relation. Pran loves his mother a lot. I cannot be the reason he loses her. Someday he will hate me for taking her away from him. He may be in pain today but with time, his parents love will heal him. He will find love again. He will forget me.

Pat's voice trembled as he thought of the day when he will mean nothing to Pran.

Korn: Pat, you are just assuming things. Please let Pran hear your thoughts, let him say what he wants. Don't take decisions that you will regret later.

Pat: I regret every second I stayed away from Pran. If only I had realized my feeling back in school, I wouldn't have wasted my time fighting with him. I would have made more memories with him to last for a life time. It's too late now. Nothing is going to change our destiny.

Korn was about to say something to Pat when his phone starts ringing. He looked at screen and was surprised to see Wai calling him. He quickly picks up the call.

Korn: Yo Wai. What's up?

Wai: Korn, Pran..Pran

Korn: What happened? Why are you so stressed? What happened to Pran?

Pat body stiffens in tension on hearing Pran's name.

Korn: Which hospital? Okay. I will be there in 30 mins.

Korn disconnects the call and looks at Pat with concern.

Pat: Korn..

Korn: Pat, we need to go to the hospital.

Pat: Why? Whose in the hospital?

Korn: It's Pran

Pat: What happened to Pran?

Korn: I don't know. Wai told me Pran had fallen unconscious and he had to be rushed to the hospital.

Pat: I want to see him. I want to see my Pran. Please take me there.

Pat burst out in tears as he think about Pran lying on the hospital bed unconscious.

Korn comforts him and they both rush to the hospital.

At the hospital:

Pran and Pat's family are waiting outside doctor's room to get information on Pran's condition. Korn and Pat reached the hospital and rushed to check on Pran. As they were about to enter Pran's room, they heard the doctor talking to Pran's parents.
