With McCarthy gone, Rani and the entire school could carry on as usual and breathe a sigh of relief. Rani went home to rest her injured left shoulder, and help Joshua out with the gluten free nuggets whenever she could. When Rani left, the entire school had an assembly in the gym, and Becky laid out some tougher rules and guidelines due to McCarthy's attacks on the marginalized students and staff. Everyone understood that any prejudice against anyone whether they were black, gay, Asian, Arab, Indigenous, a person with an intellectual disability, etcetera, they would automatically be expelled or fired after three strikes.

The next day, the final day before Christmas break, Rani was surprised by the entire school and was awarded Student of the Month, while they had their Christmas party in the gym. They danced, played games, sang Christmas songs, and ate their fill of food and candy while watching classic Christmas movies.

Rani's birthday came and went. School went on as usual, and the little girl would often be busy with missions on the side that were handed down to her from her father, since he was not the Sorcerer anymore.

Her very first mission was a bit of a challenge. She had to to help a disfigured bell ringer, and help a gypsy girl and her people stand against an evil judge.

Her second mission was after her birthday had passed. She had to protect a young mute woman and her family from an vengeful preacher. Previously, her daddy had to protect this woman from this preacher until she had killed him in self defense.

Her third mission involved protecting a former mermaid and King's daughter from an evil sea witch's sister who vowed to get revenge for her sister's death years ago. Previously, those years ago, her father had helped this mermaid after she struck a deal with said sea witch named Ursula.

She had another mission where she had to keep an eye on a lion's daughter and guide her younger brother to lead an ancient group called "the Lion Guard".

There were also groups that were watching the little girl with the Scepter very closely, and for some odd reason, Scrooge didn't like it, and wanted to protect her while at school. He deeply disliked that these groups hid in plain sight whenever he looked around and there was no one there.

In the first of the four groups, most particularly, a woman named Sarah Alder. Sarah looked to be a thin woman with long dark hair in a braid, and piercing blue eyes. She had been watching the little girl ever since an evil Royal vizier took over a kingdom, became a genie and was defeated, and then tried to come back and take the kingdom back again before then 5 year old Rani eventually did something to the vizier.

She had unconsciously used magic to split that man's soul in two. The light side stayed alive while the darker and evil half died. This happened to almost every villain since she accepted her duties as Sorceress, except for the Notre Dame judge, the sister of the sea witch and a gorilla hunter.

As a result after witnessing her power, Alder had Rani tested, was found to be the first Witch in her family, and when she was 18, she had to report to Salem, Massachusetts in order to serve at Fort Salem, where Alder resided.

Another woman from another group that was watching her was Headmistress McGonagall, previously Professor McGonagall. She was a woman of average height, slim, and in her elder years. She, like Alder, had witnessed then 5 year old Rani do magic, and had discussed with her parents about possibly bringing Rani to Hogwarts School when she turns 11. She also warned the parents that the Sorting Hat would most likely, if Rani didn't object to it, put her in Slytherin because of how powerful she was becoming.

Of course, Wong and Stephen were also watching Rani, and since she had become Sorceress, trained her in the Mystic Arts to hone her self defense skills and magic prowess. That, Scrooge didn't mind one bit since he knew them.
