In Another World

The previous day I discovered that I was inside a little girl's body. Today, I was found out that I was in another world entirely.

I traveled away from the oasis, bringing food along with me incase it took a while to find more. What I found when I traveled farther into the forest was that nothing was what it seemed. I had run into trees that moved.

Last I checked, trees were incapable of moving and chasing after people. Apparently we were all wrong, because I found myself being chased by trees. They were really frightening with them wanting to eat me and all.

That was just the beginning. The next otherworldly thing I encountered were flying wild dogs. They looked just like hyenas, minus the fact that they had cupid shaped wings on their backs.

And no, they did not act like cupid, unless you count cupid to be someone who hunts innocent girls just to eat them.

I was no expert on nature, but I was darn sure that these things were not found on Earth, but rather in fiction stories. I was in another world, wasn't I?

Woohoo. Fate reincarnated me... not saying anything... except that I really want to bash her face in right now.

I sighed in exasperation. I wasn't only deprived of my only wish, but also sent to another world that I had no information about. Fate was really cruel, I wept.

Then, I started thinking of the different types of worlds it could be. Based on what I had seen so far, it looked to me as if I was in one of those typical fantasy worlds that had a demon king waiting to be defeated. Was there a church here too?

I had not read much of the stories called light novels in my past life, and I was deeply regretting it now. If I had read more, maybe I could have been more prepared for this change.

This body resembled a young girl, but boy, she was one hundred times more athletic and fit than I could've ever hoped to be in my previous body. It wasn't as if I tried to exercise, but I would bet imaginary money that this girl's body could beat most olympic athletes.

I didn't think that anyone was actually capable of doing what I was doing right now. I had traveled for days without food, then after gaining a few days of relief, I traveled even farther. To top it off, I had barely gotten any sleep and I believed that I had been running from these cupid winged dogs for about a full day now.

These dogs and I were insane. Just who had I possessed? She was god-like to me, as I could never hope to reach the athleticism and stamina that she held. I looked back, and to my dismay, the winged dogs were approaching at a rapid pace.

"Ah, if there is any deity willing to help me out in this situation, please don't let these dogs hurt me! I want to get out of here safely and then find a nice murderer to kill me!" I prayed.

I know, it was about as strange as a prayer could get, but hey, I was someone who almost everyday of their miserable life wished for death. Not a painful one, but a quick and painless one. Death was a reprieve for me, and how I had evaded all forms of death, I knew not.

In my past life, I realized that I couldn't kill myself. No matter how many times I attempted to commit suicide, I failed. I would wake up healed, or just not die.

I poisoned, stabbed, hung, beheaded, crushed, and suffocated myself, all to no avail. No matter what I did, I always woke up the next morning perfectly fine. Ever if I cut myself, I healed right up.

However, I discovered something that the curse of healing didn't affect; that was, if someone else injured me, I wouldn't heal. The only way the curse would take affect was if I injured or killed myself.
