Season 2 chapter 9: settle a rival for good. And Vali demise.

Both Sonic and Shadow were staring each other down "Sonic you know him?" Serafell asked "yeah before Vali he was my personal rival" Sonic explained as Vali smirked at this "whoever this Vali is their nothing but pathetic, i'm your only rival" Shadow commented which insulted Vali as he walked towards him which everyone noticed "Vali, don't" Sonic told him but Vali didn't listen as Shadow looked at him "so your Vali?" Shadow commented "indeed and I'm afraid that you are no longer Sonic rival" Vali replied with a smirk which annoyed shadow "oh. How so? I can sense your power, it is pathetic" Shadow replied until Vali brought out his Divine Divide gear "so what are your wings gonna make you fly" Shadow mocked Vali "you dare to underestimate me!" Vali shouted in anger "Vali don't you won't win against shadow" Sonic tried to warn him but Vali didn't listen as he entered into his balance breaker and flew into the air and stared at Shadow "if you want to be Sonic's true rival then prove it and fight me. Whoever wins is Sonic true Rival" Vali commented as Shadow crossed his arms "fine but this will be your last fight" Shadow commented before both of them rammed into each other before they started to trade blows until Vali pulled back "DIVIDE!" Albion shouted as Shadow power was half before a little bit of it was in Vali as Shadow smiled at this "oh now I see why your so special you can half your opponents power and take that half impressive" Shadow commented making Vali smirk underneath the helmet "....however this is starting get on my nerves! SO I AM ENDING THIS RIGHT NOW!!!" Shadow shouted before he appeared in front of Vali before punching through his armour and into his stomach making Vali cough blood up as the blood dripped out of Vali helmet "VALI!" Sonic and everyone else shouted as Vali struggled to look up at Shadow "goodbye" Shadow said while closing his eyes before Vali lower half was blasted off which shocked everyone as Vali fell to the ground but Sonic caught him before landing on ground as Vali armour fell off while his wings remained "hang Vali, I still owe you a rematch" Sonic said making Vali smile "Thank (cough) you...but (cough)

Not even (cough) your bishop (cough) could heal this (cough)....Sonic" Vali tried to speak "Stop talk you running your mouth is making things worse" Sonic told him "....please look after (cough) albion...your now the vanishing Dragon emperor" Vali said while hold Sonic arm before Vali sacred gear was gone white light Vali chest before into Sonic arm before it was gone as the Divine Dividing gear appeared on his back as Vali glowed before turning into bubbles of light which flew into the sky as everyone was shocked to see Vali died however Sonic looked at his hands to see Vali remained on "come on Sonic let's end this" Shadow said everyone (minus Sonic) glared at him "your a monster!" Asia shouted with tears starting to form in her eyes "no, I am not a monster. I guy trying to finish a rival for good" Shadow replied as Koneko turned into her version of god form along with Akeno, Kiba, Xenovia, Rias, Rossweisse, Trihexa and Irina which surprised shadow "wow, I did not expect that Sonic would train people to enter the god form" Shadow commented before smirking "but even with this power up your not strong enough to beat me" he told them as they were enraged by this but "everyone back off, Shadow not your problem. He's mine" Sonic told them which caught all off guard before he stood up and walk towards shadow "finally seeing the truth" Shadow said *Ddraig, Albion. I want to fight Shadow on my own so I hate to ask this but please don't help me understand?* Sonic asked his partners "we understand and we wish you the best of luck" "agreed and I want to say thank you for letting me be your partner as well as it a great honour" Ddraig and Albion said as the wings were gone "Sonic can't be serious. Let us help you" Rias offered "no Rias, this something I have to do. Much like how you needed to free yourself from Riser or Kiba fought against any Excalibur users. Now it is my turn" Sonic stated "but you help us, so let us help you" Koneko counter argued.

"SHIRONE!" Sonic shouted, which shocked everyone that Sonic called Koneko by her birth name "this is my fight, and you're not getting involved, do you understand?!" Sonic questioned as Koneko was a little scared and sad that Sonic allowed her to help him but she reluctantly nodded. As Sonic turned his attention to Shadow "let's end this shadow" he commented everyone wanted to help but they knew Sonic won't allow it as Sonic and Shadow stared at each other as the wind blew through and as soon it stopped both hedgehogs rushed at each other with their fist hit each other creating a strong shockwave after 1 second they started to trade blows with Sonic going for a spin kick to the face but Shadow blocked it with his right arm before thrusting his left fist Sonic face but was blocked by Sonic hand before they both broke apart and got some distance before rushed towards each other again however as they thrust their fist forwards they both changed into their super forms.
