Kai's P.O.V.
Living in a small town wasn't something most find appealing, the way everyone ones everyone's business and that no one can get away with anything seeing how everyone talks with each other. When you add into the fact you come from a highly religious family it just adds into the fact that life gets harder.
Starting at a young age my family has had a plan set in motion for me. Talking all about how i will marry a woman and continue the family line by having kids with said woman and living a happen normal life. Growing up this way i had learned not to argue with them when it comes to this kind of subject seeing as it never ends well with anyone in the family doing so. I ended up getting a girlfriend and have been with here since the eighth grand and we are now in our junior years of high school.
All has been gong fine and well, except for the fact that thoughts and urges I managed to keep suppressed with lots of difficulties are starting to resurface. My family frowns upon and forms of depression or self harming but when you pretend to be someone that your not you do some of those exact same things to keep everything hidden. They have no idea of the thoughts or urges i have had or the way i have kept them away and I'm hoping that i wont have to tell them.
Though I have a feeling that this year is going to be the struggle for me. Attempting to keep everything held in but the way the thought have been coming in full force don't seem to help. Which makes it worse when you go to school with the person that makes most of the thoughts come to you.
