"There you go, doctor. So, what is it?"

"Did your hair grow longer?"

"...That was random."

"Oh, just humor me. That was literally the first thing that came to mind."

"...Yes, just a bit... Do you like it?"

"Pretty sure shoulder blade length hair isn't "just a bit", Wiya."

"Oh shuddup. Just answer the question."

"Yeah, I like it, though I have also grown used to seeing you with neck length hair."

"Which one do you prefer?"

"Up to you. I would love you all the same."

"...Thank you."

"Awwwwww, is Miss Little Tsundere embarrassed? Ow, ow, ow, please stop biting my neck, you aren't even a vampire!"

"That's what you get for being an ass."

"Bah, my ass is perfect so that's a compliment."

"I'm going to destroy it."

"Just try it. But, of course, do it when we actually get out of this forest."

"Of course I know that! Who would want to do it when we are surrounded by Krill, Surtr's unconscious and it's raining on top of us."

"Yeah... True... But this is just another day in the office for us, no?"

"Too true... Actually, can we just stay like this for a bit longer?"

"The hugging or our situation? Ow."

"You really are a masochist."

"Nope. I just like to tease you and Surtr. Your reactions are really cute, adorable and loveable."

"...I'll let this one slide, doctor."

"Why thank you, milady."

Silence envelops them as they bask in each other's presence while their enemies slowly encroach on their little cave while Surtr is beside their feet with bandages wrapped around her head. The cave vibrates which prompts the doctor to sigh as he slowly gets up while letting go of W's hand.

"Time's up, I guess."

"Yeah..."

"Wiya. I just want you to know that I will always love you and Surtr, no matter what."

"Damn it, would it kill you if you don't jinx us like that for every bad situation?! Stop raising death flags!"

The doctor gives her a melancholy smile as he deigns to not respond but roughly ruffles her hair, before slowly walking out of the cave. W, seeing this, tries to pull him back, but her hand goes through like an illusion. She tries again, and again, and again, before trying to swipe at his body. She falls but gets up again as the doctor is almost out of the cave, without so much as a glance to the back. She catapults herself to the doctor with her arm outstretched, yet just as her arm was about to reach him, he turns into yellow light particles that slowly floats away while the cave simply disappears and replaced with black void

W feels herself falling, with her head diving first as no solid ground to propped her up is there. She closes her eyes and when she slowly opens them again, she finds herself back in the passenger bay with Surtr looking at her with concern in her eyes.
