Ashlotte(Soul Calibur)- Fygul Cestemus had been pushed to the brink of annihilation by Astaroth, with the cult's survivors doing their best to preserve their lives. Eventually, two priests who survived the struggles came up with a plan of taking down Astaroth. Since attempts to control the golem, who was created based on a human, all ended in failure, they decided to make a soldier that has no soul.Eventually, she, or "it" as it isn't a living thing, was completed. An artistic mass of gears and shafts locked together in an intricate and arcane configuration, what the world would call a "machine", made this executioner doll tick, while features of unparalleled grace masked the mechanical components within. However, although she could talk and act like a normal human, she had no emotions and was set on her goal of eradicating Astaroth.Given the name Ashlotte Maedel, she emerged beneath the sunlight, sending tremors through the hall-collapsed underground shrine, making it crumble into ruin. She was not distracted by the destruction; she simply set off across the desert to complete her appointed task.Ashlotte was originally tasked with retrieving Astaroth, but since she didn't get there in time before Maxi took care of him, she just settled for his core.
Xiba (Soul Calibur)-Xiba is an important characters of all time in Soul Calibur history. His father was Kilik a friend of Siegfried and his mother was Xianghua. He was raised in war when his mother and father were battling off the evil nightmare. His mentor taught him a special type of fighting and made sure he was ready for battle.Xiba grew up in the mountains with his master, and he has very little knowledge of society. His education is limited to martial arts, but his natural instincts are very finely honed. He thinks quickly on his feet, making major decisions in a matter of seconds. He doesn't approach others with suspicion, due to his pure heart. The mountain village he grew up in was full of kind men and women who treated him like a treasured member of their own family. Due to their influence, he doesn't mind being an orphan and retains a positive outlook on life.The wild boy Xiba, on a quest to inherit the Kali-Yuga, one of the three sacred treasures; Maxi, sent to accompany Xiba by an old man named Edge Master; Leixia, guided by a pendant with a curious blue stone; and Natsu, Leixia's friend and bodyguard. The four had become companions on their journey to the west. When Nightmare had brought up this "friendly" bet he knew that Xiba had to step up to the tasks.
Leixia-After Xianghua left Kilik and was forced to marry a Ming General, she gave birth to Leixia. Xianghua, being well experienced in life during wartime and martial arts, often told her daughter war stories. These tales sank in while Leixia was young, giving her a deep love for her mother, heroism, and swordsmanship. In fact, these stories were in an idealized vision in Leixia's mind, and she pestered her mother to teach her swordsmanship.Leixia, being the eldest daughter of a respected general and an upperclass woman, could have had a quiet and comfortable life. She's well educated, loves reading, writes poetry, and plays the koto with some skill. Leixia believes in heroes and perhaps, deep down, she would like to become one herself.Xianghua, knowing of the dangers of the world, sought to protect her daughter from the very lifestyle she idolized. Leixia, ever tenacious, runs away from home, bent on creating her own future. Seyfried needed to sike out some people with a beatuiful girl but with a deadly sword.
Patroklos- Patroklos had been raised by his father, Rothion. Rothion would convey stories about Sophitia and her holy mission to destroy Soul Edge. Patroklos, as a result, desired to become a holy warrior, just like his mother and to one day meet her.When he was fifteen years old, Patroklos won a sword-fighting tournament, but that same night, his father began to succumb to his illness. Before his death, Rothion told Patroklos the truth about their family. Sophitia was killed in battle by a group of malfested and Patroklos' sister had been abducted by a malfested wielding a ring blade. Patroklos vowed to rescue his sister and avenge his mother. After years of training under several masters of the fighting arts, including Setsuka, he learned of Graf Dumas' recruitment for warriors to hunt down the malfested. Patroklos chose to work under Graf Dumas in hopes of destroying the malfested.
