Princesses Can't Be Pirates

The Fight

Author's Note: Hope you enjoy the story so far, in this part Pixal meets Zane in the fight and they are against each other until something happens. I'm not going to spoil it for you so I would advise you to read to find out what happens.

Pixal POV

I kept on fighting, when I was captured I was trained to fight, the thing was I had to get forced to do things I shouldn't. If I refused to do what the Overlord commands me, the Overlord's warriors would come and whip me. It was very painful for me so I had to avoid refusing

I ran to fight the protectors off, there was fewer of them than I thought.

I managed to kick out five warriors, then one of them caught my eyes.

Just as he saw me he charged and I managed to block his swings with his sword.

"Get the ice pirate" I heard the Overlord command,

I immediately began fighting with the pirate.

"You should never mess with a pirate," he said, 

"And you should never mess with a princess," I said.

He immediately stopped and looked at me with shock,

"Princess Pixal?!" He said in shock.

I nodded, just then he fell to his knees and bowed down to me.

"Princess what are you doing?" He asked me,

"Following orders from my leader," I said as I kept on fighting him.

"Stop," he said as he blocked my sword from getting anywhere near him,

"You have to stop, this isn't you, why are you doing this? We have to get you back to King Borg" he said to me.

"That's not me anymore, I am not the princess, this is my life now," I said to him.

"No," he said as he made my hand loosen and made my sword fly behind me.

I was just going to get my sword when the pirate held up his sword at me,

"You be with us, it will be safe, we can take you home," he said.

He held out a hand for me,

"Trust me," he said.

I grabbed his hand and he helped me up,

I grabbed the rope behind me and then kicked him to the pole of where the sails were and then tied him up with it.

He tried to break free but he was surrounded, 

"Good job Princess, now kill him," he said I looked at the pirate. 

His eyes met mine, he shook his head telling him not to do it.

"Do it" my leader says, I shook my head I couldn't.

My leader slams his sword down and yelled at me,

"DO IT!" He yells.

I shiver, I held up my sword ready to strike.

Zane POV

I saw the princess holding up her sword, I shut my eyes daring not to see what happens next.

I heard a slicing noise from a sword, I felt no pain at all.

I opened my eyes seeing the ropes cut and falling to the ground,

I looked at the princess and gave her a soft smile, she looked at me and smiled faintly.

"WHAT DID YOU DO!!!"The Overlord says as he pulled out his sword from the floor.

He immediately trusted the sword through the princess, she immediately grunted in pain.

She soon fell to the floor, I managed to catch her from touching the ground.

Her eyes gently opened, I looked at her worryingly.

"H-help me" she choked out, I looked deeply into her eyes.

"Don't worry, just hold on" I said to her before she passed out in my arms.

"Fall Back" I heard Lloyd say, we all headed to our ship and turned on the motor which made the ship go faster.

I managed to jump onto our ship, I softly pulled the princess close to me to keep her warm.

"Zane, who have you got there?" Kai asked me,

"Yeah, she could be an enemy," Skylor told me.

"No, she was forced to be one," I said to them,

"What do you mean? how could you be sure? Do you even know her?" Some of my friends said as they got devisated.

I sighed, 

"I am sure she can be trusted, she has been forced into this, the reason I am telling you this is that when I saw this girl fighting I immediately realized that she was the princess," I said.

Everyone gasped,

"Are you sure?" Nya asked me.

"I'm positive, I could tell from the necklace she is wearing" I said.

They all stared down at the necklace, it had a pendant with a small picture of the princess and the king.

"You must be right" Jay said,

"I'm just going to take her to the nurses, they'll fix her up" I said.

"But what are we going to do with her while she is staying here?" Cole asked.

"I'm not sure yet, but we'll figure it out" I said, after we finished our conversation I carried the princess to the nurses room.

Without myself knowing, I held on to the princess's hand while I was taking her to the nurse room.

The nurses took her in and told me that she'll be ok, 

Just before they took her in, I laid my head on hers.

"You're going to fine, I promise" I whispered.
