"Well if your going, I'm going!" Larkkit said, pushing after her brother. "Wait for me!" Dawnpaw said running.
When they got to the Thunder Path, a monster went roaring by. "Now guys, remember to watch out! It can be dangerous! Dawnpaw warned. "Yeah, thanks for telling us Mom!" Pinepaw said teasingly. He started running across and Larkpaw shouted "Pinepaw no!" She started running, but Dawnpaw stopped her. "Stop." She said and looked at the Thunder Path. He looked up as a Monster roared by and yelped in fear. "I'll go get Redfern and Dovestar!" Larkpaw panicked and ran toward the camp. But Dawnpaw had to watch it. Pinepaw getting crushed under the monster, barley getting out. "Pinepaw!" Dawnpaw screamed. She ran to her brother, and he looked very injured. "Get out of the road!" Redfern warned and she ran to the other side. Larkpaw and Dawnpaw started crying, and Dovestar said "Why don't you 2 go back to camp?" She said looking at Pinepaw. "He will be alright. I promise." She said licking Larkpaw's ears. They slowly went back to camp, without looking back.
When they got to camp the warriors were worried. "Where's Pinepaw?!?" Icegaze asked scared. "He...he..." Larkpaw got out. "Did he die?" She asked scared. "We don't know. Said Dawnpaw quietly. "Oh." Icegaze said quietly. "I see him!" Larkpaw said relieved. He was being carried into camp with Redfern and Dovestar. "Come with us." Redfern mewed quietly to Icegaze. "Alright." She said scared. "In going with them." Dawnpaw whispered to Larkpaw. "Ok. Be careful." She said scared.
When she crept into the medicine cat den, it was smelling of herbs. She peeked through the leaf curtain, and saw Pinepaw. He looked hurt and crushed, but she said nothing. "I'm not sure if he can live, but I might be able to save him. He would never become a warrior if I save him, though." She heard Redfern say. She silently crept out. She didn't want to hear anymore. "What did you hear?" Larkpaw said alarmed. She told her everything. "Oh. We wouldn't be able to train together." She said quietly, a loss for words. Dawnpaw was confused and sad also. What would they do if Pinepaw died?
