Hey guys! I'm soooo sorry this is late! Thanks so much, though, for a) all the love you guys are giving me (I loooove you too!! :P) and b) being so understanding about the delay (I can explain at the bottom I swear!)

I want to give a special shout-out to Summer_Chick. Without her encouragement/reminders (you know I love ya haha), this chapter would be a lot later than it already is.

I also would like to dedicate this chapter to my first-ever fans! <3

Chapter 4

Ayvril's POV

"Ayvril will you calm down?" my mom yelled as I shoved past her to cram more of my crap in a suitcase. "She's lost it dear," she muttered to my father, who was desperately trying to stay out of my way.

"Less talkie - more packie!" I chanted as I flew through them. Halting abruptly, I seized my dad's shoulders. "We are losing time!" I stressed, shaking his shoulders with every word. "Move it people," I took up the cry once again and raced into the bathroom to grab our toiletries.

"Ayvril," my mother groaned, attempting to catch me as I ran by again. "Ayvril!" With a shout, she charged after me.

"I don't have time for this," I sighed dramatically. Nimbly ducking by her, I sprinted into the tiled luxury bathroom and hid behind the door. When she followed, I scooted out and slammed the door shut. Bracing my knee against the door to keep her in, I seized a nearby chair and wedged it under the doorknob. Using that as a momentary reprieve, I leapt over one of the twin beds and began the task of shoving one of the colossal dressers in front of the door.

"Thanks for the help," I panted sarcastically to my dad after the stupid block was in place.

He sheepishly put his hands in the air. "Hey," he said reasonably. "I stay out of things."

"Ayvril Doveling!" my mom screamed from her prison. "Open this door, right now young lady!"

"You may come out when everything is packed and in car. Now," I slowly turned around to face my father, "are you going to help me pack?" With a weirded-out face, he nodded and picked up a suitcase. "Yay!" I cheered before stuffing my many pairs of shoes in a bag.

When everything was loaded up in the limo that came to get us, I finally released my mother from the bathroom. Let's just say she was pissed. "Of all the disrespectful, bratty, insane, childish -"

"Mom," I cut her off mid-rant, rubbing my temples tiredly. My adrenaline-induced buzz had worn off shortly after the limo took off for the airport. Now I was just exhausted and all the stress about Briar had finally caught up to me. However, I would like to take a moment to just simply say how awesome my parents were. Seriously, how many people do you know that will pick up and leave a destination vacation that day, on just their daughter's say-so?

All things considered, we're doing pretty well on time. It took us an hour to get back to our hotel room, two to pack, and will take another hour to reach the airport. I know Briar's flight will take him nine to twelve hours to reach Athens (the internet is a beautiful thing) and by that point, it will be too late. My dad called ahead to the airport and booked us on the next flight out of here. The plane leaves in two hours.
