Boatem Undiscovered

1) Beyond the Void

Grian stood next to his friends, watching the particles swirl around them. Scar and Mumbo were still arguing about snacks and Impulse and Pearl were just chatting about base plans. A sudden noise interrupted the group. The floor began to shake and crumble beneath them. "G-guys?" Pearl looked around at all of them, she then suddenly fell through the floor. "Pearl!" Impulse looked through the hole she fell through. "Guys! There's a sky and clouds! It's a new world!" He yelled right before he jumped in after Pearl. "Come on, it's better to go on our own accord then let the floor decide for us." Mumbo said before putting on his elytra and leaping through the hole. Scar just jumped in after him, not preparing or anything. "Ok, let's do this." Grian mumbled as he dropped down through the hole with his elytra on.

The red jumper wearing man was blinded by the sudden brightness all around him. "What is this..." Grian was stunned by his surroundings. There was already buildings, cities more like it, everywhere you looked the buildings taken over it. They were all made of stone and glass, very simple building supplies, but some of the buildings were made of iron blocks. "Very expensive taste..." He whispered as he glided down the the ground. He landed on a brick pathway, with another iron and glass building in front of him, though this one was humongous and had a huge sign made of yellow concrete. "UA? What does that mean?" Impulse asked as he dusted off his shorts. Grian was about to answer but Scar interrupted him. "Someone catch me!" Though he yelled it out far too late. He face planted on the ground and dropped all of his stuff. "BAHAHAHA!" Grian fell over laughing and so did Impulse. "Scar! Oh my god-" Mumbo choked out trying not to laugh. Scar soon respawned in the exact place he fell prior. "Why didn't any of you catch me?!" He yelled out. "Y- you were too close to the ground haha!" Pearl laughed out, trying not to cry from the laughter.

The groups laughter quickly died down because an alarm had gone off. "Run!" Scar yelled out as he started running towards a gate. Though he was quickly stopped by a long haired man with a super long scarf. "Who are you? Why are you trespassing on UA property?" The tired man asked. "We don't know how we got here ok? We just escaped Boatem and we fell into the void then we were here!" Pearl yelled out. "Void? What is that?" The stranger asked. "You don't know the void? If you dig down far enough you hit bedrock and if you use red stone you can move the bedrock then you get the void." Mumbo explained. "Are you joking? There is no void under earth, it's a hot ball of lava then it's the other side of the world." The black hair man told the group. "Is- is he seriously that stupid?" Scar whispered to Grian. "Probably?" The elytra loving man responded. "Where are we?" Impulse asked as he looked at the strange man. "You seriously don't know where you are?" The tired male looked at the group annoyed. They all nodded. "Your in Musutafu, Japan, 30XX." The stranger told Boatem. "30XX?" Impulse looked around at his surroundings. "No way..." Mumbo said, his jaw dropping. The black hair stranger looked at the group, surprise spread all over his face. "All of you, come with me." He started walking towards the inside of the building. The entirety of Boatem followed after him.

He made a sharp turn towards a staircase that led downwards. They all made their way to the bottom and the man stopped infront of a door. "Drop everything you have, and change out of those stupid test dummy suits and put these on." He commanded as he gave the group multiple pairs of navy sweats and grey t-shirts. The group began to change, minus Pearl who was led to a different room to change. Everyone had finished changing besides Grian. "Uhm... guys? I need help..." He mumbled as he struggled. "What's wrong? Got stuck in your suit?" Scar teased. "No... seriously I can't take of my elytra!" He yelped as he tried tugging the wings off. Mumbo and Impulse came over trying to tug the wings off his back. "Stop! It hurts!" Grian cried out as he held his back and pulled away from them. "Do you has curse of binding on your wings?" Scar asked. "No... why would I? And how would you even find elytras with curse of binding on them already?" He asked as he tried to rub away the pain on his back. "So how are they stuck then?" Impulsive asked. "I don't know! I just- I don't understand how this happened, so I'm going to have to deal with it until I can figure it out..." He yelled angrily as he tried to take off the suit. Mumbo rushed over, trying to help his friend. "Slow down! You're going to hurt your wings!" Mumbo gently helped Grian take off the suit.

Grian finished getting ready, having to tear 2 small holes in the back of his shirt to let his new wings through. He wrapped his wings around his torso as Pearl and the strange man came back in. "Well, I should introduce myself, I'm Eraserhead. Once you gain our trust then you can know all of our actual names." He told the group. "Who's us?" Scar asked as he looked all around the hallway. "There are teachers here, you appeared in front of UA High, the most prestigious hero school on the east coast." He explained. "Hero school?" Mumbo asked. "Yes, a school for teens to learn to be superheroes." He explained further. "Wow! I've never heard of a school like that!" Scar chuckled. "Well, there are rooms down the hall, you'll be staying in those until we understand more of the situation." Eraserhead told the group as he pointed down the hall. "The door behind me, the one that leads to the rest of the school, will be locked once I leave. We don't want you running around especially during school hours." He told the group. "You're holding us hostage?" Impulse asked. "No, your under custody." He said right before he slammed the door closed and locked it.

A few hours had passed and Boatem settled into their different rooms. While the others all grouped together to hang out, Grian decided to lay in bed. After awhile Mumbo came in to check on the newly winged man. "Grian? Are you ok?" Mumbo sat down on the bed next to the male. "My back hurts a lot..." Grian mumbled as he fiddled with some of his feathers. The elytra tugged tiny feathers out of his wings. "Hey, stop that..." Mumbo said as he gently grabbed the blonde's hands. "Sorry, I'm just super stressed right now!" Grian groaned out. "Take your shirt off, lemme check your back." Mumbo told his friend. Grian sat up and gently pulled of his shirt, wincing as the fabric tugged at his wings lightly. "Grian, your wings are-" Mumbo stopped himself. "What? What's wrong? I can't see!" The shirtless male tried turning around to look at his back. "They aren't stuck, their apart of you!" Mumbo ran his hand around the skin that connected to the wings. "Stop that!" Grian fluffed out his wings. His face flushed from embarrassment. "How did they fuse to you?" The mustached man asked as he examined the wings. "I don't know! Maybe this new server has a mod like Origins on it?" Grian mumbled as he tried putting his shirt on. Mumbo helped his wings through the small holes. "You looks tired, do you wanna take a nap?" Mumbo asked as he looked at his friend's eye bags. "A little bit but it's fine!" Grian yelled out as he rubbed his eyes. "Grian, I know your still tired from the whole Mooners thing so I think it's best you rest." Mumbo insisted. "Fine, just be close by please..." Grian mumbled. "I will be in the next room." Mumbo patted his friend's head and walked out the door, closing it gently.

Grian laid down, worry eating away at his stomach. We have no idea where we are, so why is everyone just ok with all of this? For all we know this could be a trap, we're being held hostage for Pete's sake! Grian pushed his head under the covers, screaming into his pillow. He felt so frustrated by all of this madness. He laid on his stomach, letting his wings cover the top half of his body. His thin blanket covered his legs, the sound of horrible ventilation echoed through the barren room. He could hear Impulse and Scar joking around, along with Pearl chiming in from time to time. Mumbo seemed to be really quiet, he was probably worried about Grian. The winged male sat up, his blanket acting as a cape as he made his way to the next room over. He shuffled towards Mumbo and grabbed his shirt. "Come on." Was all he said before he dragged Mumbo away from everyone. "Grian's kidnapping Mumbo!" Scar yelled out. "Scar! Quiet!" Pearl yelped out as she noticed how tired Grian was. "Why?" Scar asked as his head tilted. The duo left the others, shuffling down the dark hallway towards Grian's room. "Can you not sleep by yourself?" Mumbo asked calmly as they made it to the elytra's room. "Well kinda, it's just that I didn't hear you talking with everyone so I was a little worried..." Grian yawned as he flopped down in bed. Mumbo lifted Grian by his armpits. "Is it just me or are you shorter than usual?" Mumbo pointed out. Grian leaped out of Mumbo's grasped and stumbled towards a mirror. "I guess so, maybe it's since I'm suppose to be a bird like creature." Grian concluded before trying to get back in bed. Though Mumbo stopped him, he got into bed first and let Grian lay on top of him. "Why are we laying like this?" Grian asked as he turned red with embarrassment. "Cause, I'm worried about you and this is the easiest way for us to be close together!" Mumbo chuckled. "Ok whatever." Grian mumbled before he let himself get comfortable and fall asleep.
