Knowing today is the day, I read back the letter from Ezra. Joy rushed inside of me knowing my dream is awaiting its take-off. As I reread the letter for what had to be the thousandth time, a sudden cry came from the background.

I rushed to the back of the house, and to my bedroom. Lillith had just woken up from a nap. Lillith is my daughter and she will achieve this dream with me (AN: You are 22 and had Lillith when you were 18. Puffy is also 22). As I comforted Lillith I glared at the clock on the wall; less then hour until dreams are made and lives are freed. I held Lillith close. This is going to make our lives worth living. Everything's going to be so much better after this.

By this point I had memorised the instructions from the last letter Ezra sent. I was to go to the dock at midday. Midday sounded so far away even with it being less than an hour away. I decided to pack our stuff, even though I had been told we didn't need much. I didn't want to take much as it's a bad memory to me. I've been rotting in this shack since I turned 18 and will feel no regret leaving it far behind, but I had to take something. I grabbed a backpack from the bedroom and pack up somethings. Most of the stuff I pack is just food, but it is important stuff nevertheless.

With now only half an hour until I am meant to be picked up, I decide to head to the dock. I put the bag on my back and pick Lillith up. As I lift her I ruffle her fluffy, auburn hair and stare deep into her glimmering, green eyes, smiling. I'm so happy I have Lillith with me. Due to her insistence, after my mini daydream, I place her on my shoulders as she grips her hands around my head.

I waddle on out of the door, bouncing Lillith on my shoulders with every step. She chuckled lightly as I move. She and I wave the house goodbye and relief floods me as I finally leave it. I'm so done with that hell hole that I only lived at because of all my mistakes I've made. I won't miss it.

Once she's done waving Lillith taps on my head and insinuates for me to go faster. I run forward as the wind rushes through my hair and through her hair too. As the dock gets closer and closer the urge to dash faster and faster is hard to resist. I want to get out of here as soon as possible, but I have to wait still until they arrive to pick us up. As we arrive at the dock I take Lillith off of my shoulders and we both sit on the slippery, wet wooden planks.

Knowing Lillith, she'll be impatiently waiting for a while now. For her minutes must be hours, but she is 4 years old so you can't judge her. She fiddled like a worm since the moment she sat down so I decided to do something. I took the hairband off of my wrist and tied her hair into a French braid. She fidgeted non-stop but it was nearly done, just not yet. I took the many flower pins I'd clipped into my hair earlier out of boredom and put them into her hair neatly. I stared at my masterpiece as I put one final clip in and smiled. Then something caught the corner of my eye.

I saw a little boat: a row boat in fact paddling towards the dock and guess who sat inside of it. All alone, Ezra rowed towards Lillith and I.
"Y/N" Ezra yelled to me loud enough that I would acknowledge it but no one else around us would. I was confused and by what Ezra said next it was clear he could tell.
"I'm taking you to the ship" Ezra smiled at me. With the information stated, I picked up Lillith and climbed into the boat when it was close enough for me to get in.

He steered us off to the east as soon as we left.
