Ch. 1 "The 'Big' News

Hi guys! I'm very new to this community and I really hope I can fit in someday! This is my very first fan fiction and I will be working hard on it! Anything written on here is purely my creation(except for the characters, obviously) and I just wanted you all to know I am not copying anyone! I only expect a few people to read this, maybe even none, but I'm still going to try!

Ch. 1: The 'Big' News
Lucy's POV

I woke up to the warm, welcoming sunshine. It's 7:35 A.M. I sit up and yawn, thinking about random stuff. It's been 2 months since Lisanna has come back. Don't get me wrong, I love Lisanna like a sister. But ever since she has come back, the entire guild has made it their point to ignore me. I'm really grateful to the small group who actually treats me the same; which only consists of Mirajane, Master, Laxus, Wendy, Carla, Happy, Lily, Gajeel, Levy and Lisanna. You're probably wondering why I haven't even left the guild yet. I wonder about that myself; it's the most common question that has been popping up lately. I sigh and get out of bed. I do my daily routine which is basically just cleaning up and going to the guild. The time is now 8:02. The minute I open the guild doors, I know something is off. Well, more off then it usually is. I walk to the bar saying my usual "Ohayo, Minna!", and of course, only some respond. I request a milkshake and Mira just smiles at me sadly and goes to make my drink. 'Weird' I think to myself. Before I can interrogate Mira for more information, Lisanna comes up to me silently sobbing, looking at me like she betrayed me. I prepare myself for the worse and ask her the million dollar question. "What's wrong?" I ask concerned. She just points to the door, as if signaling to go out. I take the message and follow her out the door. We sit on a nearby bench, and she snaps, her sobs gaining volume and she struggles to tell me something. "I'M SOO SOOO SOOOO SORRY LU-CHAN! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!" is all I can get from her. "Lisanna-chan, calm down! This is probably not your fault so please don't cry. I swear I'll forgive you no matter what. We're best friends remember!" I say. She settles down, still sniffling here and there. "I'm so sorry Lu-chan! Natsu wants to kick you out of Team Natsu and replace you with me!!! I feel so bad!" she exclaims. My whole world shatters. I fake a smile for Lisanna even though I'm on the verge of crying, and say,"I get it. I'll just wait until he tells me directly." I told Lisanna I had an urgent matter to attend, so I run home, the tears threatening to spill out.
