It's our graduation day.. I'm looking around our school and thinking how I'm going to miss this school. I'm also going to miss the people around here. By the way, my name is Kymbrell Anastasia Gomez. Everyone I know calls me El.
Anyway, I live with my mom and I've never met my dad. It's difficult for me but I guess it's okay.
"El! Is it true?" I heard a familiar voice call my name. She's so pretty and almost every guy in school like her. And right now, she's walking towards me.. Feeling ko alam ko na kung ano sinasabi niya.
Pero ang sabi ko, "Oh? Ano nanaman yun?" Di ako ready na mapag usapan namin to.. Baka umiyak ako ng 'di oras..
"Oh you know what I'm talking about! Iiwan mo na ba talaga ako dito? With all these people? Alam mo naman ikaw lang ang tunay kong kaibigan dito!", I know how sad she is. I can feel it. Kahit na pag kasama ko siya parang langgam lang ako sa sobrang ganda niya, we still love each other like sisters. We've been friends for like FOREVEER!
"Sorry Trish!", Patricia Santos nga pala ang pangalan ng best friend kong maganda. May pagkabaliw din to eh. Pag sa kalokohan at pang bully kasama ko tong babaeng to. "My mom told me that we need to leave soon. My grandparents are living in California and they want me to be with them for just two years."
"But how about our friendship? And our dreams?", mangiyak niyang wika sakin.
I'm not ready to cry.. UGH! My mom might have told her mom.. Oh well. Better now than never right? "Oh come on Trish! Cheer up! It's not like di na ako babalik! And we can always communicate through e-mails, tweets, skype.. di ba?"
"FINE! Just promise me that you'd come back ok? Don't ever change! I love you guuuuuurl! Oh come here.", she pulled me towards her and hugged me. TIGHT!
