The Conjunction of the Spheres left monsters and men running into each other at every turn, behind every shadow, and at every moment. They clash. When the Spheres closed and the monsters stopped trickling through the gaps, witchers emerged to confront the infestation.
They wiped each other out, nearly.
Few of monsters and few of witchers remain, hated by all. But there are survivors. Those who manage. Those who struggle. Those who win. And this includes members of both races.
It is far better if they are both left alone.

A NOTE FROM LACEY: So this little snippet should hopefully get you feeling excited for what's to come! I've got a few things to point out far before the story comes here. One, this is a lesbian fanfic for YENNEFER, the most powerful woman to grace the mortal plane. Two, our protagonist is an equally powerful, alluring WOC who I've named SIAVI WRÓBEL (see-ah-vee roe-belle). Three, the story does not have so many witchers as it does monsters! As it is about Dol Drelch, the Valley of the Beast, you can take a stab at what the ANTAGONIST is going to be.
