2)The wedding

Mikasa's pov

This still feels so unreal, it's been 3 months since eren proposed to me and now in just less than 24 hours I will no longer be an ackerman.

I will be a yeager, that thought alone erupted butterflies in my stomach and brought a smile on my face.

The wedding dress, location and everything had been set up, with great help of eren and of course my friends we were able to complete everything in time.
We had planned a small yet beautiful wedding.

I really hope it goes well.

Right now, I was in my room trying to fall asleep but my nerves were kicking in. I was very nervous about the wedding, I was afraid I might trip while walking on the aisle or worse, rip my dress or- ugh

"STOP MIKASA" I yelled at myself mentally and felt a headache forming..

''Not this again'' i thought as I clutched my head and sat up in my bed.

I really wish eren was here, he's the only one who can calm me down and make me forget all my worries, all together.

He's literally the one who can make these headaches vanish.

But i know I won't be able to see him until tomorrow at the alter,
Since it was against the tradition for the bride and groom to meet the night before the wedding.

All these days i had been sleeping with him like always but just this one day that i really need him , I won't be able to see him.

Sighing I lay back down and pull the blanket over my head, trying to fall asleep.

Just then, I hear a rattle on my left and hear the squeak of my window, like it was being opened by someone.

What the..? An intruder?!? Right now?!

I remain under the sheets grabbing the pillow at my side and grasping it tightly, ready to hit him in the face with it, since I had no other weapon to attack this intruder with.

I hear a thump on the ground as he jumps down in the room and then gradually hear his footsteps come closer to me, just as he stands right next to my bed and I feel him slowly removing the blanket from my face.

"This is it mikasa, now or never" I think before I throw the pillow right at the intruders face as he stumbles slightly at the sudden attack.
I stand up quickly ready to run and grab some weapon or atleast get out the room.

As soon as my hand touches the door knob, I feel an arm snaking around my waist and pulling me back towards a hard rock chest, the smell of pine wood wafts into my nose, I hear him chuckle softly in my ear as he says "really mikasa?a pillow as a weapon?"huskily.

That voice, that smell.. Huh! That's eren!
I quickly turn around and am met with those large emerald eyes that I love oh so much.

"Ereh" I whisper as I look at him dreamily, I can't believe he's really here!

"But the tradition-"

"Fuck the tradition mikasa, I can't really sleep knowing my beautiful fiance is having trouble falling asleep"

" How did you-? "

"Oh cmon, mika you do realise that we have been together for years now, I know when your nervous and have headaches and tomorrow's our wedding, I knew you would have trouble falling asleep, and cmon now we don't want you to be tired tommorow, it's our big day after all "he said smiling softly down at me

I still can't believe what great deed had I done in my past life to have someone like eren in my life.

" I love you so much" I said hugging him and basking in his warmth whilst burying my face in his hard rock chest.
